The scene that appears at the beginning of the series is similar. Those trying to convey the drama look alike. Even if they are of different types. But also different lives and choices, and the events that result from them are very similar.

Both of these dramas have two characters who are intricately involved each other through parental ties as well as a mysterious murder case. In both, the leads travel into different dimensions for each other.
In Train, the ML travels into a parallel universe to protect the FL.
In W, the FL travels into the world of comics to save the ML.
Both of these dramas are beautifully shot and while Train does focus more on the murders and W more on romance, they both give extremely similar vibes when it comes from the transition shots from dimension to dimension.

Though it is a parallel world genre, it is similar in:
-the ML doesnt admit he loves FL but everyone knows he loves her very deeply
-serial killer on the loose
-wrong convict

Both the dramas shows us parallel universe. Have mysteries. Great cast. Both the female leads are police officers

Both male lead act multiple role in the drama, male lead is a detective, solving a serial murder case. Yoon siyoon and yang sejong
are great at portraying each character.

Both are korean bl-dramas, in which the characters meet again after something happened in their high school days and hidden romantic feelings resurface.

There too FL & ML grow together since they were kids and FL protects ML when they were kids.

Flourish in time is more poignant with good character arc but overall FL and ML characteristics are similar. FL is bubbly and outgoing with ML being quiet.

It has First love and we also see that the male lead is
Independent it start with their School life.
We see Friends to lover relationship and alo caring male lead funny loving female lead .

Though twist & turns are different but plot is kinda same with the ML being a special force officer & FL is a doctor. Both are of their first & last loves.

Written/Directed by the same team. Similar aesthetic and vibe. Same intriguing and mysterious style of storytelling. Unusual plot, not the same o’, same o’. Great story development despite the short episodes. Romantic, heart-fluttering, with some giggles and humor too. Sexy, but still very sweet.

Both are dramas about supernatural creatures that have a campy style humor that makes fun of itself or the genre (vampire/zombie).
