Dramas and movies based upon a true story, ranging from historical figures to events, to varying degrees of accuracy.

Both leads are damaged, traumatized, deeply lonely, or otherwise wounded by life, fall in love, and try to heal together. AKA my favorite romantic…

Because the number of episodes of most Chinese dramas can be daunting, these are full length but shorter than average dramas (20 or fewer episodes).…

characters who transform into both humans and animals (includes nine tailed foxes).
