I think bu yeon was the soul shifter and not naksu in the first ep. Because in ep 9 we learned that Bu yeon was…
I agree. Buyeon/mudeok was not Naksu's choice since she was blind and Naksu was shocked to see her during the soul shifting process. It implies Buyeon was the one who performed the final soul shifting and also means she is more powerful than Naksu or else Naksu would have gone into that body of her choice like she's planned.
i have question why does jang kang doesn't accept jang uk as his own child? even if he don't accept his own child…
Because he is not his son. This drama has iterated over and over that the soul exists and holds great importance over the body hence the title of the drama. It is the kings soul that made Uk and its basically why he has the kings star. So Soul > body since souls can switch bodies, and therefore that makes him the kings son. This is fantasy so you cant attach science to it
With either scenarios, it’s TERRIBLE planning in storyline and production. Should have filmed it all at once.
That's what i said! but someone mentioned it was planned from pre-production. But my point still holds that Netflix is slowly changing the culture surrounding korean drama. Had the Hong sisters written this story 5 years ago, I bet you they'd have been able to fit it into one season because multi seasons wasn't as common. Shows that got a second season were decided AFTER the show had finished airing and had good viewership plus maybe fan enthusiasm.
The issue I have with this change in the FL is because I don't know if its due to the script or their contract with the Somin. Because if its the former, then I have no problem watching peacefully because I'd be rest assured that the story will follow its normal progression. However, if its because Somin has a conflict with her other shooting schedules, then the story progression will go to shit because that would mean the writers have to scramble and rewrite the plot into some half-baked story. Between the original kmedia release on this and the AOS crew scrambling to do release their own statement, I cant tell which it is. Is the AoS crew scared of spoilers like they really claim or are they doing damage control. That's what I wanna know especially given they burned Naksu's body in the show already
On Somin's departure from Alchemy of Souls, was it planned or is this a conflict in availability. If its planned by the screenwriters then I'm okay with it otherwise I blame netflix. They're the ones who have been trying to force the multi-season tv format that wasn't so common in Korea save for really popular shows
Nope, naksu body is gone done, but we don't know about the soul of real MD trapped in the body, there is actually…
That's why I had a problem with Oh My Ghost ending. The ML for all intent purposes fell for the ghost not the real host yet they made him end up with the dull host. It was so annoying.
While any of the three guys could fit CSS, I think she is the only one who fits the General. Because whether she likes it or not, CSS is more like her mother than she realizes. She's tough and a no-nonsense person and that is the kind of wife a general needs. Not someone like her Cousin who is to meek and might not be able to handle internal fights or external forces while the general is away at war. Nor is the Princess who likes him because she is too pampered and lowkey probably thinks she's too good to interact with the common people. CSS is the kind of woman who wouldn't mind going to the frontlines with him, or staying in their house managing the affairs of their family. Ack! How I wish we get to see that like in the Story of Minglan. But this one seems like it'll end at their marriage.
I have empathy for the mom. She had to harden herself to leave her child behind. It is a dilemma for her. Guilt…
100% agree. I will add that she's also a human being. Children tend not to think of their parents as people of their own and we only see them as our mom or our dad, But they do have opinion and thoughts that don't always revolve around us. So her mom can also struggle, and make mistakes, be stubborn and all that. I think so far as she has good character development, she's fine. Also she's not even that mean like some moms. Just unaffectionate.
Zhao Lusi’s real voice really amusing. It’s not fake child like and too perfect. I feel so special about her…
Her voice is very nice. Why would anyone ever dub her. She sounds so feminine and sweet. I'm always shocked to hear her speak in this drama because her character isn't considered feminine and well-mannered but her voice is the exact opposite. Love it!
I was enjoying soo jae being badass untill she just took the side of rapist. Writer did Soo jae dirty there like…
Fellow aot fan!! Hi~
But actually think about it from her perspective. SJ is not a prosecutor whether you like it or not, and its not a criminal case, its civil hence why the alleged victim brought her own lawyer. Shes trying to get compensation and SJ has been tasked with making sure that does not happen. At least thats how I saw it. Shes just doing her job. And she basically says so to her assistant. If the victim had hired her, she woulve fought for her instead. She is not obligated to when shes not her client. Thats just how the world works
wow....everything was going great until she defended the rapist....:/
If she didnt take the job, someone else wouldve. Thats the reality. And she knows that. Shes a lawyer and thats her job. Shes not about to risk everything she worked for to help a girl she does not know. Human beings dont work like that. Think abour how many times youve said no to your boss. Probably doesnt happen because the minute you do, youre fired. Same thing applies here. And Soo Jae always does her job well and leaves no room for a comeback. Comapssion is weakness and the victim woulve definitely taken advantage of that in a bad way. Not by any fault of her might i add. But its a dog eat dog world.
