You made great points here. I would say that Emperor Qianlong both loved Empress Fucha and Concort Ling and each of their death made him very heartbroken. Because your right, Concort Ling was very favored because they had a lot of children together but that doesn't mean that Qianlong wasn't heartbroken til to the end of his days about Empress Fucha as even til his old age he would visit her grave and write moving poems about her I don't think he would have done that if he wasn't still thinking about her and missing her even after her death. Maybe I will do an article on Consort Ling next :)))
And concerning making Hofia-Nara empress, it is believed that he decided to make her empress only because his mother persuaded him that the empire needed an empress and she personally favored and wanted Hofia-Nara to be empress. So who know that if it wasn't for his mother, if she would have been empress or someone else would would have been instead of her.

My one concern is that it's really hard to fake string instruments in dramas so I wonder if Yang Zi gonna play the way the music should be played or just do random string playing it would be nice if for once a c-drama get instruments right and hopefully this drama will not be the next victim by TwoSetViolin reaction vids haha. But either way I'm fine with it bc I understand a drama needs to be filmed as quick as possible and Yang Zi is already a good actress so asking her to learn to play properly is asking too much
And btw why is Angelababy still acting in dramas when she can't act? lolol
I can't believe the one that plays the wise servant who secretly loves the Empress is the same actor that played the funny 10th prince in Scarlet heart he really does have a lot of acting ranges he's so goodddd
Hey y'all one of the reasons why this drama is related to Ashes of Love is bc Ashes of Love chinese title has the words "sweet honey" and Skate into Love chinese title has the words "rock candy" and the next installentment Love when the Stars Fall chinese title has the words "star candy" and these are related b/c there all sweets.....Its weird but thats another connection to them
