If you read older comments, I am sure you read more comments talking about their chemistry than the lack thereof.…
I respect your opinion but that’s not at all how their kiss came across to me, especially the random rubbing from someone so closed off and cold who the writer hasn’t even shown warm up to her came across as uncomfortable. I mean he was practically leaving her behind up that hill like he always does and then rubs her and kisses her at the top? I know it’s supposed to be more of a psychological connection and they have baggage etc. but there is no outward change between them in their relationship. Sometimes he indulges her conversations, that’s it. Their texting is endearing but just barely because it hasn’t gone anywhere and she comes across as kind of needy in them. I’m just missing the outward development especially from Mr. Gu although I don’t think it’s the actor’s fault at all. I know the writer can express affection because she’s doing it with the second couple.
As much I like this drama, I second this, having a more philosophical relationship doesn’t mean that the sexual/physical…
It’s not just the physical that’s missing for me necessarily, I barely even see thoughts of affection. At least show him conflicted about wanting to be with her, rescue her from something and then regret it, something..anything
Are we just going to ignore that the leads chemistry is so so bad, non existent really. I’m on episode 11 and that kiss was the most awkward, short and unclimactic first kiss I think I’ve ever seen in a drama. The entire thing struck me as strange. I feel like every scene of them is basically Gu looking bored with her or physically trying to get away. The ML is a good actor but I’m watching this for Ki Jung and Tae Hoon.
I noticed something. I know the ending song before he disappears is the same song they sing after he gets beaten up in episode 2. I didn't catch how FL was the one who made the snow come down in that last scene, and it looked like she also made the flower petals fall in the other scene too.
i reallly enjoyed it at beginning , but episode 6 onwards is cringefest..ngl i paused the video many times because…
Yeah the beginning was outstanding but the last half was just eh. I wish they'd drawn out the identity confusion longer cuz i love that shit and it seemed like the writer ran out of ideas.
i didnt find the first ep very compelling... when does it pick up?
IMO it should have a slice of life tag. This is a slow building and detailed drama. It doesn't ever really 'pick up,' it's telling the story slowly as a whole.
I can't believe how good JCW was in this. My favorite roll of his after Healer for sure. He was so natural and did everything here from drama/sadness to comedy to singing, even magic..just wow. He was magnetic and stole every scene. I just can't stop thinking about this drama, yeah it had a few flaws but it's still the best of the year so far for me
