I’ll probably get hate for this but I actually think it’s the acting that’s giving people a forced impression, Jin Wook is doing an awful lot of that stone faced staring with mouth hanging open thing that sometimes passes for acting in dramas. I’m liking his acting in most scenes but especially when it comes to romantic tension his gaze is awkward. I’m not about to skip those scenes though, still feeling so much chemistry and loving it.
I have chocolate on hold, and I have seen just between lovers, it’s one of my favorites.
It’s not fair to say writers shouldn’t be creating anything angsty and tragic or else it’s called reused. The plots are very different. If you’re just tired of this genre that’s a different story.
I have a theory about SW's missing scar and ML & Sol's lack of chemistry. What if somehow his wife switched souls with SW, and ML and FL don't know it yet, so that is why they're drawn to each other and Sol is really the one he is looking for who was Bulgasal
I'm going to be flayed alive for this but I don't think Nara can carry a lead role with so much airtime just yet.…
Yeah she does do that a lot, at least she shows emotion though, I'll take that over the stone faced with mouth hanging open look that sometimes passes for acting in kdramas. but yeah she needs to tone that down
I'm not a fan of ML's acting either although FL doesn't bother me. Yeah 2FL is a better actress, but the show is still amazing imo. I'm watching for the production, complex continuous plot and chemistry.
So much went wrong after episode 11. First half was easily 10/10. For one thing threats of rape are NOT seductive and sexy no matter how they tried to portray them.
I really don’t see where they’re going with the romance, ML and FL have sizzling chemistry, long close stares, holding her when she's unconscious and he even brushes hair from her face for crying out loud. He also pretty much ditched 2FL to get back to FL when he found 2FL in her home & covered her mouth to keep her quiet…there was nothing there, no spark…PLUS she’s pregnant with another man’s child now. But I just can’t see how they’re going to pull this off with her being his wife in a past life and she is his whole motivation to avenge. I’m worried the writer might just be teasing chemistry with no intention of actually going there (hope I’m wrong)
In ep 3, when Doyoon's character is introduced and he's put in the trunk, they made his eye look all bloodied for a split second, it looked like they might have done it on purpose to make it look like when he was a kid. Did anyone else get that vibe or am I reading too much into it? I seriously got that impression when I saw that scene. I think he's his reincarnated son
The show is a masterpiece in the making but i do think they kinda screwed themselves over with the romance tbh.…
I only finished episode 3 so far, but my impression so far is he loved his wife because she was his family (pretty sure I remember someone saying their marriage was arranged) but it seemed to me it didn't go much beyond that. In backstory them together went beyond bickering she pretty much acted like she despised him. That might have just been because of how he treated their son, not sure, but anyway I'm seeing all the potential with FL, maybe there will be a betrayal by 2FL or something to plot twist her character, I think him being torn between the two will be a major focus from here on out. The story and characters are so deep detailed and complex that's the best I've got at this point
