You're right. According to that the average rating should actually be 8.9. I'm willing to bet MDL applies a formula to offset the actual average, just like IMDB does. IMDb calls it a weighted average and they do it so some shows aren't rated too high. Sounds like that's what they're doing so that might explain the low rating.

I know, it’s stupid if that’s the case.

I actually liked episode 1 as far as children’s backstory episodes go. I usually don’t have patience for those but at least that one didn’t make me want to go to sleep. The show immediately gets much better after episode 1 though so yeah give it one more episode.

It's an amazing drama and an easy 10/10 for me already. I suspect the CGI could have put some people off. Some people are touchy about those kinds of things mixed into their drama and will write the drama off. This deserves at least 8.5

Watch episode 2 and I bet you'll change your mind.

How did it go down to 8.4 this should easily be 8.6 or 8.7. I love everything about this show especially the pacing, every episode is just packed. Their chemistry is amazing too!

Yeah, it was incredibly boring, no characterization, dragging plot. It was more of a slow philosophical drama. Try the first episode for yourself.

Do we know if they actually slept together or is it a repeat of her only thinking they did? He looked confused and said "what's there to explain?" making me wonder if it really happened, but it sure looked like they did

Part of me wonders if Yoo Ah In’s death smack in the middle of the show wasn’t them just killing his character off due to him realizing this was a train wreck and jumping ship. There was nothing of substance here at all as far as plot or dimensional characters are concerned and very boring.
