Oh thanks for the warning, case format dramas aren't my thing either.
Yes I can name them but not sure what your point is. I just do not like dramas in case format, especially legal or medical ones, I prefer dramas that follow the traditional format, one singular focal story without multiple different stories of cases interspersed and distracting from it.
Dramas like this make me really miss the old days when kdramas were more built upon unique engaging plot instead of just recycled tropes, love triangles and never-ending misunderstandings.
now matter how good the plot is and the cast i cant i cant stand his (jichangwook) acting i cant i cant...he used…
No hate for JCW I love him and like you he used to be my favorite, for me starting back in Healer days. Lots of his projects I still really like such as Worst of Evil he was really good there, and his acting was amazing in Lovestruck in the City, Most of Sound of magic was amazing imo too. But I know what you mean. Sometimes lately it can feel like he's overacting
Haven’t finished episode 2 yet, but even though it’s so cliche in many places, it’s cliche done well. I’m enjoying this more than I thought I would. They have great chemistry. I’ll bet the ex comes crawling back within the next few episodes.
15 mins in and maybe I'm just jaded but we've all seen this a million times before. Workplace sexual harassment, a cheating fiancé, everything down to throwing a drink on him. It's actually impressive how many cliches one after another were crammed into the first 15 minutes. I'll keep watching though as it's actually not bad despite the cliches.
Park Min Young is finished, this drama flopped and she's too old for romantic dramas anymore
Too old for romance dramas lmao what are you on about, do you realize there is more to life than just a single decade of someone's 20s or 30s.. and it passes in the blink of an eye.. so who wants to only watch romance dramas focused on people who look like they're in their 20s over and over again on a loop. Besides she's not even that old 😂
This show started as a solid 9 for me, but now it's at a 7 (and it might drop even further). It's so unrealistic.…
It's typical low-effort modern kdrama writing. First 2 episodes were great and had potential. Then became a flat palace cooking show. Tyrannical deadly king had no good reason to change his ways except for his crush on this woman. Characterization is bad. Just so generic.
It went downhill after the first two outstanding episodes imo. Totally generic boring palace cooking show with occasional glances from a formerly tyrant now whipped king. Also so overexposed post-production.
