Let's be honest.. i can't be the only one who think she's ugly, right? Objectively speaking and subjectively too…
I agree with you. I think she's better suited for more complex roles that are not hinged on beauty, not ones like WTSG where they keep showing scene after scene of the ML falling for close ups of her face smiling at him in slow motion for no other reason than she's stunningly beautiful. She is not that type of woman and it makes you cringe a little that they're trying to portray her like she's a showstopper.
Nah they're not that desperate for it at all, just look at the hate for When The Stars Gossip for being too quirky…
I guess we just have different perceptions. WTSG is not just quirky it's just straight up cringy to me and a lot of people so I think that's why it's getting so much hate.
People are desperate for unique plots again. So many cookie cutter lackluster dramas and this one stood out with great tropes like hidden identity, and the wife being mute was a unique twist on the usual. Those are the kind of things that create the tension we love and used to make kdramas so great. I think it got people really excited about it. I never liked the actual execution of it though and not to mention the ending. Major letdown.
oh, what part is that? i don't remember seeing that subtitle anywhere in the drama
The fruit fly scene. She says he's licking her butthole and they're about to mate. I rewatched the scene to make sure I wasn't seeing things and yep it's there.
Are we going to have to put up with the cringy English speaking and English speaking actors the entire 16 episodes? And fruit flies “licking each others buttholes”…did I read that right and was it supposed to be funny? Somethings wrong with this drama fr. The humor is not funny and it’s like it was written by a child, loaded guns and bugs just flying around in space. Episode 2 solidified this probably is not for me.
The using a gun inside a space ship is what got me. Not trying to hate on this drama though, I think it has potential…
Not only overkill, and even disregarding the science of whether or not a gun would even shoot in space (I don't know the science behind it)...a gun inside a spaceship is a huge safety hazard. Could you imagine blowing a hole in your instrument panel or the hull? Maybe eventually FL will reveal that it's not a real gun and I can have some faith in the writer again. I hope so.
Sad to say, 22 minutes into the first ep I got bored out of my mind and decided to just browse some news sites…
The using a gun inside a space ship is what got me. Not trying to hate on this drama though, I think it has potential and I didn't find it boring. But inaccuracies like that really draw me out of the story
Not sure how I feel about it yet. Kinda feel like this episode was the special effects team mostly trying to show off the entire time. And cringy English speaking in kdramas always turns me off and it was on overload here. I'm pretty sure you definitely can't use a gun inside a space ship either... But it kept me watching. I'm curious to see how it goes.
