It's a plot devise. You've never seen a side character catch onto hints before anyone else and start to try to uncover the truth? lol people on here just love to stir up drama.

I didn't see it as care and love, but I also didn't see it as being a stalker creep either. He was doing it because he was the first one to catch on to the hints about her secret and so became curious and was trying to find out more and whether or not it was true. I mean that was kind of necessary for his characterization and the plot. And when he discovered it they became closer since he was the only one in on it as of now.

He was pretty much interested her from the start, and they showed it by him taking interest in her resume that accidentally fell in her hands and him figuring out her age discrepancy. Among many other things.

Is this really starting Aug 7? Why no trailer or promos?

Looking forward to this one. Don't know much about the plot but I hope it's "he turned her down years ago but then fell hard years later when she'd already moved on" kind of thing

People complain about everythingggg. This drama reminds me of 2014-2016ish kdramas which actually paced well, they were about spreading out cute entertaining interactions and character development between plot that kept you engaged the entire 16+ episodes. I'm failing to see what is boring here, just because they're not going full on action with the murder plot at the moment? They DO have to space things out to fill the eps, if they don't then people will complain "it's going to drag later" and it probably WOULD, which is why it has to be paced out. Like what more do you want lol

Weird, I really started getting into it more starting episode 7. I thought episode 8 was a little slow but now it's picked back up again, the last two were great. And this is one of Korea's best directors. I guess we all have different interpretations of dramas.

His face at least in How to Hate You seriously reminded me of a young Namkoong Min

You can go through people’s lists and nitpick whatever you want, you’ll always find some rating you disagree with and it’s getting old. Bottom line is people are allowed to dislike a drama without being attacked. Chill

I dropped it too. I actually really liked the first few episodes, but then it got suuper popular and overrated imo, all while the show itself got more and more boring.
