OMG I'm so sorry, my bad 😭 I completely did not notice the 'emotionally' part, and yes, I noticed that part, too, and maybe– just maybe, Nueng's mother has seen him act around Palm and how Nueng is comfortable around him. Then again, it's just a theory though 😆

I think the reason she put Palm in that responsibility was because he's always with Nueng. Though I get where you're coming from, but it could be a little spoiler for a future episode where Palm really was a trained bodyguard or something 🤷♀️
