Anyway, this is surely the best romcom i saw this year since reply.. i'm not sure about everybody else but it's like that to me

That mother should've been locked in a mental hospital ever since she said her husband shouldn't get surgery, that was clearly abnormal of her! I don't get why her doctor son didn't notice she has a mental illness!!.. And then all of that rubbish in ep 8 wouldn't have happened at all!
But the good thing about it was the little sister's acting, I see her for the first time but she really acted very well.
Episode 13 is soo sad that my heart hurts..
This drama has its negatives but it's soo beautiful that i'm satisfied just with the 2 main leads and that little piece of sugar Eun Sung ♥

You're right, Tdramas are always slow, I dropped a lot of them for that reason.. But it's always fine to watch a funny simple-plotted drama from time to time, with no annoying evil characters or complicated twists.. just a drama to smile like a fool while watching it.. that's what i like about Tds.. I agree that flashbacks in Refresh Man are not necessary but they are the part I enjoy the most about it.. Briefly, if the drama was well written and well acted I don't mind it being a bit slow.. especially if there was an Aaron Yan in it .. tbh :D

Well!! Taiwanese dramas are sure different than any others, I haven't watched a lot of them but i noticed they're always from a fairy-like world.. it bothered me at first but i just got used to it.. I mean idealistic and tackiness are an essential ingredient in a Tdrama.. but not to the point of being boring, especially Refresh Man, its dialogues are amusing and the acting is really good.. I dont know which part exactly u found boring but.. tastes differ ^^!
It was absolutely one of the best korean mini series i've watched, and better than a loot of dramas aired lately.. the "butter of the story" was very meaningful, but the thing i liked the most about it was the ending.. it's very hard to end a drama happily without it being a bit tacky! And, just like you, i've come to trust that writer and look forward to her next works.
I saw the first ep and dropped it, u can say that I was rash but it's just not my cup of tea, I did like the flashbacks more than the scenes in 2016 though...
