It's not that deep tho 😭 Like the only point of the broadcast was to show Saeon's new job as a negotiator and…
Would you say it’s not that deep if they alluded that the jews were throwing the nazis in gas chambers? I don’t think so. Just because you don’t care about this ongoing conflict, you don’t get to treat it so lightly.

Let’s say the lack of reaction was her reaction.. simply because of everything you mentioned. Sometimes it happens and you don’t know how to react when you’re overwhelmed. I still don’t see a problem with her acting, I thought she was scared and then relieved after the danger was over, and her just standing there was weird for a fact but for me it was the writer’s fault for not giving her anything to do or say

Title When the Phone Rings Spoiler
I probably miss it, but how did the 4 friends die? And why did PDJ think that the former BSE killed his twin brother?…
You didn’t miss it, unless I missed it too XD we dont know how the kids were killed.. however, the twin brother probably just saw the crime somehow.. I don’t think we’re getting the exact answer to that seeing how fast paced the events are.
As for the granddad, what I understood is that he’s such a good hearted man that he wanted to kill his grandson who kills other kids (that he disposed off of course). Then he killed the female lead’s step brother (because he saw his real grandson), then when he got caught he had to succumb to the step brother’s dad’s deal ..
This is what I got from this messy plot, someone correct me if i got something wrong

The guys are emotional because one has his life-planned revenge out the window and the other was betrayed by the assistant he trusted so much.. what do you want the girl to do? She isn’t attached to the guy bleeding, she’s in a weird position, I think the problem was with the writing of that scene and not her acting

maybe past lovers
Most likely, but the way it ended should be the reason why he became a demon and why she "stole" his power now.. that's why I'm invested to figure out what happened

If this is the typical KDrama route then the demon knew the FL in his past life and became a Demon to save her.
Do atypical Kdramas exist?? *o*

I'm currently very invested in the demon's past human life.. It should have something to do with Do Hee since she was able to steal his tattoo after 200 years..

The rating dipped because the romance is simply not romantic imo. People stick to romance drama where the chemistry…
I believe the chemistry is lacking because of the ML's lacking acting skills. Another reason why I'm not very fond of this drama. He has so much screen time and little to no expressions. (sorry to all the fans, if he has any)
I think he's the least talented actor in this show, yet he has the main role, weird..

Title My Lovely Liar Spoiler
I disagree with you on the blame you put on him.
I'm not sure why you disagree (you could've elaborated XD) but, respectfully, words are a very powerful weapon. Everyone should be responsible for what they say (and even for what they don't say). Personally, I don't think anger justifies horrible words (or actions).. don't go calm down and then come back and say you didn't mean it, the damage is already done. The only reason I sympathize with the ML is because he wasn't mature enough to know what words can do to an already messed up person. Plus, if the girl did commit suicide because he told her to, I believe she did it with the intention of having him live miserably and blame himself for the rest of his life, and that's reason enough for me to be on his side.

Title My Lovely Liar Spoiler
I can see why the ratings dropped.. there are too many typical kdrama tropes and it's annoying. The plot is also very slow so I would've dropped it if I had something better to watch.
However, I like the concepts and questions this drama raises, it's very unusual. Like, what is the truth? Is a lie enough to make a judgement about a situation? And more importantly, how many faces does the truth have?
The ML made a huge mistake by running away and hiding his past.. not that I blame him, I would've done the same. But it's because he lives in hiding that no one around him believes his innocence, even his closest friend started inherently getting used to the "known truth" that he's a murderer.
Concerning the murder mystery, it's not completely cleared out yet so I'm making assumptions based on what was revealed so far. I believe he was so fed up with her attitude that he told her to kill herself, he was angry and serious about it in the heat of the moment, but he didn't know she would actually be mentally f**ed up enough to do it. And that's why he subconsciously believes he killed her. And not to be mean or lame, but I think he was responsible for her death in this case.. she wasn't in her right mind, and his words were the reason she gave up her life. Then again, he wasn't mature enough to know the weight of his words and what they could cause, so I feel bad for him.
On a side note, I really reaaally hope this doesn't turn into another kdrama trope where the ex is actually alive and was hiding all this time for whatever reason! The drama is almost a 7 for me now, but it will drastically drop if the plot turns in that direction.
As for the SML, I'm sorry but he's a walking red flag. I can't imagine how terrible the FL must feel to know that her ex was suffering so much while he was with her and didn't tell her. I would hate to be having fun and enjoying my time while my loved ones are secretly in pain! I would hate myself for misunderstanding him and treating him badly when he was going throught such a hard time! And I would hate him for making me feel like a stupid piece of trash! Why were they even in a relationship? Worse, they were planning to get married!! Is he going to walk away everytime he has it tough?

Jeremy Meeks is incredibly popular and every male serial killer and mass murderer, even the ugly ones, gets fanmail…
I hate to agree with you, but I do. I don't know if it's aggressive behavior, physical appearance, or fame that attracts those women to murderers, but they are stupid in my eyes (I hate to be offensive, but I can't find a better word). I also think they need psychological assistance.

When a villain female character is written properly, it can become one of the most memorable characters in one's drama experience. Example: Great Queen Seon Duk. Unfortunately, I don't think there is another female villain character in Kdramas that is as great as Lady Mishil. Usually, the female "villain", if there is one, is just a pitiful woman who can't get over her one-sided crush on the male lead or just hates the female lead because she's jealous of her for whatever reason. Of course people will hate her. Another popular female villain theme: a rich mother-in-law *rolling eyes*.

For the record, I don't call these characters "villains", and I hate it when the second male lead/rich father-in-law is like that too. They're not evil in my eyes, they're just losers lol.

Give me a female psycho serial killer, or a smart, successful lady who has ambitions and doesn't accept failure, idk, give me a con woman who breaks the law and defrauds people. Give me anything, but with logical and solid motives, not pitiful excuses.

Perhaps it's the bracelet? It stops her from hurting so that could also mean that the illness won't kill her
That's another part I didn't quite get, lol! The bracelet did prevent her from feeling pain, but it needed to be recharged by him every day before midnight.. so, another how? She didn't feel pain even after he vanished..
Anyway, if I remember well, he and the deity told her that she will die anyway whether she tries the treatment or not, and the contract was about her not feeling pain while dying, so it just doesn't make sense..

I didn't get it. Did I miss something? Wasn't the contract that he would help her die without feeling any pain if she wished to destroy the world, and if she violates the contract her most loved person would die? How did she survive? As far as I understood, there was nothing about her survival in the contract.. she would've died anyway, just with or without pain.. So, how?
