I feel deceived, and more like stupid, to have cried with Seo Jin's wife in the first episode XD

What is wrong with this drama? why did they air just one episode for two consecutive weeks? When two episodes are already not enough :(

Just watched the first episode.. and just what kind of acting is this! These people are NOT acting!! Nam Gyu Ri broke my heart T^T and the kid is soo cute <3

That, i'll agree.. I also don't like his almost indifference about her "betrayal".. it seems that he didn't really love her either.

I think what she did was plenty of reason to call off an engagement .. it may seem plain to us because the whole thing was covered in few minutes in the episode, but seriously he was frozen, she knew it, she could've done something to at least find him, but she pretended she knew nothing and even accepted a bribe to stay still. I wouldn't trust her anymore either, let alone get married to her. I mean, she wouldn't have given up so easily if she really loved him

What u said is in fact the same as i'm thinking, and actually I don't blame WW for not cutting all ties with the KH, I believe she refused him and decided to get married to 321 because KH had a girl, and she pushed him away many times but he didn't let her go so she can't really be blamed, she did all she could to resist him, she's still just a human being and she can fall for temptation.. especially when her fiance is neglecting her that much. By sugarcoating I meant that they're denying that they cheated just because they didn't have sex.. but cheating is not only about sex!

I also don't think that the girl has made any mistake so far (except for letting the obsessive ex-gf slap her twice!), she resisted temptation for so long although her man wasn't there to make her feel secure and determined, but she did cheat on him, come on XD I hope i didn't sound so contradicting :D

I'm just curious. What do they mean by betrayal in this show? when is it okay to say that one of them cheated on the other? is it when they sleep together? is it when they kiss or when they hold hands romantically? or, is it when they start thinking about each other and having feelings for each other?
I just noticed that lately dramas with this theme are sugarcoating betrayal with lame excuses and pretexts.. I'm not against the cheating itself as much as i am against justifying it or pretending it never happened because "we actually didn't go all the way"!!. Just accept that you did wrong and move on, people make mistakes.

There is nothing that is entirely either black or white anyway, even murder can be justified let alone cheating.. after all everyone is right in their own perspective, but I'm not seeing this depth in this drama tbh. I'm watching specifically for the theme of betrayal, but I don't understand how the leads fell in love with each other to begin with

I don't understand how some people say "only mature audience would understand" whenever infidelity is involved! come on guys there is no way a sh*t would smell better no matter how much perfume you use on it XD

Exactly, he, and many other characters in many other occasions have been getting on my nerves.. one can't be that naive, especially him; they kept bragging about how witty and smart he was as a kid, which is why the emperor turned out to be this pathetic to begin with

Yes it was MYR who figured she was still alive, but that just means that he didn't even bother check if she was dead or not, he just wanted to get rid of her, and even if he knew she was alive i don't think he would've saved her because he didn't want the accident to be exposed to begin with, he just didn't want to take any kind of responsability

I respectfully disagree.. the emperor could've just left her body there as a hit-and-run accident and prepare his alibi as he did and she may have survived, but he didn't, the hit may have been an accident but he killed her intentionally when he took her body. I think, rather than psycho as many described his character, he's just a pathetic egoiste with low self esteem who blames others for his own mistakes because he is the emperor and he can not be at fault. The writers are trying to make us sympathize with him with those flashbacks and the way his daughter is being raised to be like him. I admit it works sometimes, I can see where the reasons of his actions come from, the writers managed to build his character background appropriately, but I still see that his actions are unforgivable, especially since he still doesn't recognize his faults and doesn't take any steps to make things right.

Who cares about rituals when it's a matter of life and death. He know that every one of them is capable of killing in order to protect themselves, I lost count of just how many times they tried to kill the empress, let alone their previous crimes, so he must've just been plain stupid. I mean, not only did he inform them but he went there alone and didn't take any weapon of any kind with him, nor did he have some kind of a plan! At first I thought it was a trap but it turned out he set the trap to himself

And if you see things from another angle, NWS basically just returned the bullet to MPJ xD

MPJ was already dead, and he was a piece of sh*t murderer whose corpse doesn't deserve that much respect at the expense of exposing NWS's identity.. NWS's mom was a kind person, and she wasn't dead when the emperor hit her, she could've been saved but he didn't care about that as much as he cared about his reputation getting damaged.. I hope you can see the difference. If NWS was just like them as u said, he could've killed them hundreds of times, but he decided to reveal their deeds to be punished by justice. I personally understand it when he forgets his purpose somtimes in the heat of the moment, but he's enduring.
But I still agree with what you said about pulling the "dead mother stops her son at the last moment".. so cliché and unnecessary.

Just how much more can these writers be provocative!! So he just gathered all those COLD-HEARTED KILLERS in one room and informed them that he will open the records room and expose their true faces!!! And he did go there, alone! no.. sorry, he took sunny with him for protection (?!!!!)
I said it in the first episode and i'll say it again, this drama makes me pull my hair off that i'll go bald by the time it ends!

I hope you don't live a moment when you're wrongly accused and the only person who can prove your innocence testifies against you, you can call me biased against those kinds of characters regardless of their gender or reasons... and unless she begs for forgiveness I'll keep hating her (THE CHARACTER).
And can people grow up a little! Why would I hate a character in a drama because I don't know the actress! Logic please!

Lol that means you didn't get me right.. I don't like YSH's character here either.. when I said he's too good I meant he shouldn't be that kind! if someone destroys your life and ruins your future you should hate them, not try to protect them.. he annoyed me more than her tbh..
And one more thing I think I need to clarify: I don't hate the actors.. both are very good, I just don't like the CHARACTERS, there's a difference there!!
