I get what you mean but tbh I was happy with the way they ended Bad Buddy. They're in love, they live together except when Pran goes away to work, their families know they are still together, know that there's nothing they can do about their love and can't stop them. I'm glad they're exploring the 2 year timeskip, plenty of time to work with.
