how could they come out.. why would anyone believe that x is doctor and y is police.. a z can start saying they are doctor.. will be so chaotic.. even if they survive voting..if doctor doesn't save police then doctor is putting police in danger and mafia will kill him.. trump card gone.... if doctor does save then mafia will kill the doctor.. and then policeman the next day

Policeman can only take a guess on 1 person.. what if he turns out to be citizen

so revealing the role is never a good strategy unless by some luck police figures out who is doctor and they make a pact

i don't think it works that way.. doctor has to protect/choose someone before final results are announced.. now based on the results, if person did not get picked fine.. but if they did then they are not killed but just turned unconscious
