DZ is irrelevant to dragon story. crux is that villain is looking for 10th dragon to kill it and hence killed the village once it came to know that WS is hiding there.

THe prophecy about CW to fall is coming true because WS will have to kill the 9th dragon and thus villain (or vice versa since dragon is tied with the villain after eatings its head)

i am curious what is the real beginning of repty/JJ.. when did it fight dragons.. before or after DZ

the demon JJ was wrecking havoc and only way to kill it was for a dragon to sacrifice itself. so each of the 9 dragons ate 1 head and killed themselves in couple, leaving the 9th dragon chi wen .. because no one was left to kill chiwen... and chi wen has the 9th head in him..

so he is stuck!

and if what we saw in ep 14 is right that JJ can absorb powers then JJ probably has some of dragon's powers.

Anyway so each dragon had 1 special scale and 9 scales came together to give birth to a 10th dragon - WS - who was sent to live in that village

CW is just waiting for WS to kill him now and has been hiding from JJ until WS grows up to kill him and thus JJ

the thing is.. these dragons could have simply killed themselves in a group of 3 . A stabs B, B stabs C, C stabs A at the same time... and 9th dragon would not be left alone!

the other ML is the real Chi Wen.. ep 6- dragon power from fox goes into his forehead and not back to JL/CW. Ep 14 - you get to see the side profile of CHi Wen when he is saving star man. Pretty sure, sandman's dragon power will also go back to WS. Lastly, the two brothers.. one of the brother is real JL or current chi wen... the older brother/butterfly guy has entered illusion in his younger brother's body.. that is why u see them as twin brothers


and the beads star guy gave WS r the beads Chi Wen gave to star guy when he was saved

they change calendar based on how a show performs unlike say iQiYi.. they stick to their planned schedule

ep 14- it was very clear who chi wen is when he was saving the star man in 2 brother's timeline..
