I am positive second car crash is when they died.. simply because DJ/HW keep saying , things meant to happen definitely happen.. and both JYJ and DJ did not die the 1st car crash way in the original timeline
JYJ did die natural death.. and DJ we know died in second car crash because HW saw him die
But agree with you on a lot of things.. thing is.. you cna make any theory.. and it will get justified to a great extent (that's why i like the drama)

he died when he died.. it was always meant to be this second car crash.. hence the recording, hence HW being an accomplice, Hence the start of HW with SY.. hence the talk of car crash in ep 1 before HW even left to retrieve the fund money

but it has layers.. retrospectively both theories work.. Say what we saw really happend with DJ.. it is possible because he was really smart at finance, business etc (minus the future prediction)
at the same time, HW knows about SY majorly by what he read in the books of JYJ and the time he spent with other members and their dark secrets. His deep respect of JYJ manifested in entire story primarily being about him and JYJ.. in a way everyone was behaving the way HW perceives them
anyway.. overall solid entertainment.. best of the year

i think it was a conscious choice to not make it obvious.. and i think this kept things interesting because there are 10 theories to follow when you see same face..

Nope.. he didn't even know in the beginning how JDJ died.. because no one ever talked about it.. so he didn't know who had died 20 yrs ago.. and there was no face (remember his confusion)
