narratively the emotional payoff is not as well laid out in the series for other couples. I think in the series, Kim got a meatier role/ depth.. so that's good. Giving away Vegas' traits to Kinn and Kim is jarring. Worse , even in case of Kinn X Porsche, where the series does focus and gives ample screen time to build up.. lately it has all been such filler stuff (narratively) that it is getting boring.

Fans should also understand that when a lot of people start feeling the boredom that means scriptwriting and direction ended up loosing the control over a taut setting... that's why part of audience can feel it

Lastly, as this series progresses, if you objectively look at it.. the usual patterns of commercial interests dictating what scenes go into the series is obvious. My fear is, s2 will have so many sponsors, and now BOC also knows which ships sell, relative popularity.. so it just might become unnecessary breakup-makeup game.

But from mystery standpoint, the book has really good material or stage for storytelling...so let's see
