that is why, i think BAJ-Junseo relationship in webtoon and drama will be very different
In the drama, i genuinely want BAJ to never fall in love with Junseo and take her revenge with clear motive. I dont' want them to die together but suffer until eternity together

I FELT ANGRY too.. so i felt director did want to drive that tone
2. well, junseo has ways of keeping track of things and he does claim to read AJ's expressions. IMO weak point in Junseo's defense
3. but that's the thing. He has decided she is bad and views her from that lens. He thinks only when he orchestrates what he thinks is a normal life with a person of his choice can BAJ be normal. She was already normal here... overall, the point of ep 7 and 8 was to show that BAJ sees Junseo as a person who is with her because of his guilt, some attraction.. but mostly, in his heart, he thinks of BAJ as a bad person - capable of murder and basically not human at all.. he is compelled by his guilt .. not by genuine love and care motivating him to give second chances to BAJ
4. From junseo's perspective there is nothing wrong.. but from BAJ it comes across as equating her entire suffering to a mere "sorry".. it is just clash of perspectives.. Junseo is desperate to lessen his guilt and he does what he thinks is right for BAJ (but a 3rd party observer and a victim will not have the same definition of what is right with respect to the abuser)

1. Him pressing her for breakup with INK.. and for one reason. He immediately assumed that BAJ is going to hurt INK and was getting jittery with every second she spent with INK (because he did not know what she is planning and could not control scenarios)... blatant case of assuming worst of her..
2. She was actually living a normal life with IK's family but Junseo could not see it.. and this she called out later when she asked him what does it mean to be normal human (because when she was normal human living happily, Junseo still saw a demon hanging out with a normal family)
3. Assuming the worst when he went interrogating her in the car.. and then again with INK
4. Oh.. sending him mom.. as if someone apologizing will undo her years of abuse and pain.. more so from a woman who is doing this just to get her monthly allowance
Three things: 1. Truth about BAJ is pretty blatant in ep 7, without even going to ep 8 2. Junseo never was and never will be THE PERSON for BAJ 3. INK DID NOT commit suicide but was murdered
Here's why
1. On BAJ and main theme of ep 7 and 8
a. BAJ's modus operandi: i. She does not get her hand dirty and prefers manipulation ii. It takes her a LOT, LOT of abuse to actually think of killing someone. Even then she is methodical and plans for days. iii. It took her utter hopelessness and see her 18 yrs of effort (academics, model student while facing severe abuse and stress as a child) shatter to actually take a step against her dad b. Theme of Ep 7 with respect to BAJ i. When granny cared for her while she was unwell, she was TOUCHED. Motherly love that she never felt (same as café owner from whom she took permission in her own way by checking if he will regret doing something for the right cause) made her not break up with INK and she continued beyond year 1 ii. BAJ's tears at hospital. No one was watching her. Acting is beautifully subtle to , personally that scene confirmed what BAJ felt about granny without going into ep 8 iii. CONSISTENT PATTERN - When she met Junseo's mom and junseo for the 1st time, she really tried to put her best foot forward. She was really looking forward to having a mom! iv. She craves motherly love and true care. She wants to be loved c. Theme of EP8 - Characterizations.. Who is Junseo to BAJ i. BAJ craves true care and she has KNOWN all along that Junseo doesn't see that in her. He is convinced that she is bad, so she truly uses him while marveling how his guilt allows him to be loyal to her ii. Vs. Jaeho - he also doesn't see good in her (he knows she is bad news) but DOES NOT JUDGE her for that iii. INK had also clocked her for a manipulative person iv. EXCEPT Grandma!.. 1st person to show her the confidence that she is a good person underneath. So, did the café owner by telling her that he wants to be that right adult in her life… and despite her words, you can see she is touched v. Some phenomenal acting from YJ ( Ep 7 and 8 define it… Ep 1-6 was normal actually.. Any decent actress would be able to pull the emotional complexity of ep 1-6.. But 7-8 r masterpieces) d. Some other things i. I think meeting director on road was not planned but Junseo never thinks better of BAJ ii. She actually wanted to give clean breakup to INK by being stoic and with her harsh words. If he could hate her, pain of breakup will be less and he may be able to move on (on back of hatred or revenge) iii. She genuinely was hurt and pretending to be unaffected is her defense mechanism
2. Junseo never was, never will be the IT person for her a. In her time of mourning, Junseo blamed her, assumed the worst of her in both deaths b. Sending his mother to apologize and trivialize her pain (from BAJ's perspective) was such a slap on her face - reinforcing that I never thought good of you c. Agency director is after BAJ now; Mom is shameless as ever and BAJ's true descent indeed happened on hands of Junseo's mom and BAJ's dad d. More hynaes after her - she is feeling weak (police guy, reporter, lena, old school bully girl) e. The moment when Junseo went to her place and she was doing yoga.. Then she cried hugging him and asked him to run away = SUCH LAYERED PERFORMANCE because in this moment BAJ is feeling 3 different emotions at the same time - a) she is angry that he is accusing her and validating her fears about him that he never sees her as a human but just his guilt personified in her. No true love/care b) She is taunting him to run away and do what he can c) She is vulnerable and scared and really want him to run away and save himself from her because anyone she likes ends up getting hurt/dead
3. IK is murdered a. We saw him throwing liquor, meds etc and he was not sad. we saw BAJ curing him of his main depression point regarding his bandmate. don't think he bought that BAJ killed grandma. His brother and agency director were constantly checking up on him.. So he was not ALONE b. Method of death… you would actually intoxicate yourself to be able to get through with the process.. Unlike other ways of doing this in a non-intoxicated manner c. It is weird that he would not and could not wait to pursue BAJ again- ask to rethink etc.. As it normally happens d. Only, explanation is that he thought grandma died because of BAJ and he brought BAJ into the home… but it just doesn't fit from even IK's perspective Drama is different from webtoon on many points. The setup to suicide in webtoon is believable but HERE sequence of events is not logical or remotely rational.
