it is pregnancy part which makes me skeptical that its queen..

pregnancy out of wedlock is literally forcing prince to marry the girl.. public will riot if that doesn't happen... and i think queen was herself quite surprised


I feel, prince took that decision once he learnt queen has started taking interest in HJ.. and then the villain minister/daddy whoever he is.. (that actor who usually plays villain)

Initially he was saying no to marriage because he knew his wife will be target of a lot of politics and threat. He wanted HJ to stay away from that.... but then a compelling reason must have come up, specially after queen's visit to hotel

ofcourse she knew.. question is what was the primary motivation

Also, who thinks grand prince lost on purpose because
1. he wanted to not appear as threat to that old man and show himself weak
2. Let FL win because she was staring at him and he knew she badly wanted this
3. got the butterflies when he felt FL staring at him so intensely... he fluttered..lol

there is this funny feeling i got from both ep 1 and ep 2


Queen and Grand Prince interactions - there is a sexual undertone

I don't know why .. but it seems like Queen, before marriage, knew grand prince and probably had a crush on him but ended up getting married to big bro

She never loved big bro plus she viewed him as a weak king and ofcourse her crush was someone else...


director has setup the scenes very deliberately and there is a certain teasing aloofness that grand prince shows towards her... like telling her to keep her distance and ward off

no.. she said that because she was angry for her husband to be weak and give up on throne

but someone else killed the king

she is a queen and comes from similar lineage... royals don't react like common people. there is decorum which is ingrained in them bone deep

so, who released the news in media?

i would say Grand Prince himself because he knew she was already on enemy's radar and the only way to safeguard her is to put her into public attention (then murder attempts will simply have to wait and Queen will not be able to object to this marriage either)


We heard earlier in the episode how prince HATES being center of attention.. which was a good foreshadowing... that prince is willing to go extra mile for FL


PLus, the girl he has always liked is proposing, wooing, and pursuing him... in no way on earth is he going to settle with any other girl even if contract marriage


I also wondered if FL leaked the news to coerce prince but then she won't release the pregnancy bit and all that... so its gotta be grand prince himself

that old guy.. who usually plays villain.. when ML told he is taking vacation time off and thought "villain" would be most happy about it

i think that is pretty obvious that the real enemy is that prime minister and he has been feeding wrong info to Queen and pitting her against the bro in law..

also, ML definitely fell for FL back in school

in my experience, in romantic dramas it comes down to 1 moment needs to click and opinions will change

king's land was a superhit.. and that was 1 100% soporific drama with very bad writing

if script isweak then no matter the country, comments will be a mess

u can wait.. too early to tell.. full of cliches.. so really comes down to how well writing and script can hold up...

this series has been a major disappointment from script and writing standpoint

doubt. he has to be real LJ.. given his sword has a silk shard.. and we just learnt in ep 19 about the ancient technique of silk shard

so, the silk shard technique..

Now i get why LJ's sword has a silk shard. That means that sword is not just a sword. It is his dead brother's soul???? OR, JL used the technique once commander was old and on deathbed to ensure somehow a part of him stays... and that's why he knows LJ is real because silk shard soul will recognize the actual soul.
