I think ep 3 would be SD still coaxing SY..and SY slowly giving in.. atleast the negativity is gone

also, on 2nd rewatch i can see how the last pool scene fits.


SD jumping into water and screaming --- internal frustration
At the time of this scene, we know in reality SD is kissing Yu passionately. He has had enough, and he jumped in.. kissing and all.. he desperately needs to 1) vent out 2) find some hope in SY and a second chance for them

SD eventually calming down and closing his eyes
Now, i think this is when his kissing and all would have slowed down a bit ( also realizing that Yu is kissing back). His mind calming down and sleep taking over

In the pool, he opens his eyes.. and he is staring at something.. and starts feeling pukish
Guessing, in reality.. as he calmed down.. at some point he would have stared at YU and realized what he was doing.. feeling pukish.. did puke (because next day no clothes).. and dozed off

he will never take money or anything..
the only way dad could keep him away is if he convinces SD that this best for SY's future.

1. When dad barged in in the end and mentioned promise.. look at SD's reaction.. it is like he is trying to sush him .. not as someone who is inferior to dad, but someone who had an equal voice in that decision

2. Him telling SY that he doesn't even know how protected he is, how blessed he is..


Also, baby, bills happened before SD was trying to contact SY on phone and 2 yrs later he left.. so baby, bills have no bearing on stopping the conversation with SY


Ultimately, what we also know is.. since y1 of separation, SY had started to work for his dad. He went to US on a buz trip.

So, all of that tells SD promised dad to not meety Yu..

and the only logical reason i can think is.. somehow knowing SY is gay would have hampered his chances with the company. if dad could find out Yu has a lover 5 yrs back, other board members can too..

and we also know from ep 1 in s3 is that SY is not getting the ceo seat free of cost.. he needs to prove himself.

So, SD kept repeating "Want to know", "Don't you want to know"

I think that was not just for SY..but more to himself.. he wants to know if there is still some of the love, feelings left in SY.. he needs that hope desperately. Given he knows SY is pretending, he can't tell if there is even iota of genuine feeling in SY during their normal conversations..

This also flows in well, when he reflected "What is hate, if not love. However little!"
