can't agree.. i have watched trapped. It is a good show on its own, but if i have to compare it to WBL, it is definitely inferior quality . And in general inferior to BL genre in content in Asia (barring those ridiculous school themed TH ones which are just random.. but laterly TH is churing out decent content)

a very very old indian movie exists with literally the same plot.

A man comes to town, goes to auction, buys off a piano.. that he sees FL admiring.. it is love at first sight for the man.. and story continues with woman playing piano that the male lead loves listening to.. and then she doesn't show up so he goes searching for her unearthing the unthinkable

I watched.. definitely has a plot (i mean none of that low quality stuff of other BLs churned out).. but i honestly FF a lot.. i wasn't too riveted.. the love felt inorganic .. but mystery angle was fun

i think mom angle was weird and innovative.. lol
