they cud easily move up the ages and story would not have suffered.. and characters could act normal.. i mean how does Tong in final yr change the story.. doesn't

The problem is you have OTHER 20 yr olds in the scene, in the story... and they are NORMAL.. so this "babish" acting feels off...

You can be innocent and in awe of things because they are new to you without acting like a 5 yr old

COntrast this with We are or 10liners... there EVERYONE is over acting.. so story tempo becomes such and then when people act like 5 yr old ..it fits the narrative/it melds with the world in those dramas..

In golden blood it is standing out like a sore thumb (i mean not unbearable but just noticeable to roll your eyes at times.. but then charm of both main leads is working overtime to pull you back in)

Credit where due.. this is entirely Joss's show

1. Offscreen chemistry and fun in interviews - he is driving it.. Gawin absolutely cannot handle it.. he is carrying Gawin really well

2. Can totally see how focuses, oriented, and purpose/goal driven man he is - like G said -What J wants, J gets.. and many other anecdotes in interviews etc over the years... he decided to enter BL and he is making sure his debut series and his couple is a hit

3. CHarms of just Mr Way-ar... effortless, manly.. and whatever it is.. he knows exactly how to use it

4. He is the USP of the drama.. that is truly the truth.. no one is watching this show for story /direction/acting / vampires etc...

all libraries do... on fortran too ..

dude the new OST is fire.. and the new scenes in that.. we are in for a treat

Overall,

1. Episodes do feel rushed (as in every screen to screen arc feels disjointed instead of smooth). Blame director
2. 20 yr old boys don't behave like that but since it is you/G, i guess all is forgiven
3. Neo is under utilized
4. If you haven't read the novel, read it.. better experience
5. This entire drama literally owes its success to JG.. their chemistry is fire.. it isn't even awesome acting at this point.. but it is one of those scenarios where you bring two people together and something divine, magical crackles.. and this story needs this magical chemistry

This director .. plz hone your craft.. potential is there.. literally the only problem with this show are abrupt cuts and disjointed story.. but in front of that chemistry everything is forgiven

like the crazy magical chemistry.. that i agree.. they were actors, acting, really good, show was good.. but yes it didn't have the spark that despite bad content still has you glued

gawin is good with any actor.. that's his thing.. and makes his character, himself really really attractive.. scene stealer

It is not about whether all popular people are good looking or not.. it is about whether beauty is a characteristic in itself, specially facila/physical beauty and if it is recognized and given relevance - answer is a resounding YES

But none of that happens because beauty does exist.. some are, some are not

and drama is depicting what happens in real life.. conversations and bantering amongst kids.. do you think if someone really hurts their friend they will continue mocking or support the friend...
