In the episode before the last, when Takuto tells he is aiming to enter medical school to Mamoru and his wife, why does the girl cry? Didn’t really get that part.

Was this really shot in Okinawa?

I felt the movie had no plot, so it got kinda boring.. I guess I'm just not used to Koreeda's style.

So I have some points which were not clear to me as I finished the movie.
- Why did Shuya create the website?
- What is the purpose of the reverse alarm clock in the scene where Shuya's mom is walking backwards? I understand the meaning of the clock in the ending scene, but not in the back-walking scene specifically.
- Why did Shuya kill his girlfriend?
- In the restaurant, when the teacher is talking to the girl, a boy hands a candy to the teacher. Does the candy have any meaning?
- Why did she laugh so hard in the restaurant scene?

I suppose that she didn't. I guess the last line was to deconstruct his imagination.

It varies from person to person. For me, it was certainly not scary. It does contain some blood though if you're sensitive.

I'm curious why did you rate music as 9. I guess it is because of the in-episode soundtrack (?)

Just finished it. Throughout the drama, it seems that the episodes contain lots of fillers that you just want to skip them all. But at the ending, you realize it was all just to build the characters.

Ikr. It's even more weird if you consider some occurrences: for example, in one of the first episodes, the ending is about murders and it barely shows a man with beard (Yashiro). In the beginning of the next one, it shows a man with a beard (Sadawa) in his office, and the fact that you can barely see the face of the previous episode guy makes you think that they are the same. Another strange thing is when a guy with beard (Sadawa) "kidnaps" the girl on the forest/festival more towards the last episodes. For me, it doesn't make sense that such a good guy acts the way he does, covering the girl's mouth and just contributes to the confusion, possibly making the audience think that it was Yashiro. I could probably tell some other occurrences, but not gonna remember right now.

The fact that Sadawa and Yashiro with beard look so alike is very confusing. Is it on purpose?
