this drama has great reviews in the comment section and don't get me wrong i love all the characters and the idea…
You not the only one I feel the same way there is literally nothing going on in this drama I thought it would get better but every episode is very forgettable.
Same shit again and again. Nothing new in this. Cha Eun Woo's role in both TB and My ID is Gangnam Beauty are…
Tbh before True Beauty came out I thought the story was similar to My ID is Gangnam Beauty and Eun Woo’s role is also similar but then I gave him the benefit of the doubt but after watching all four eps of true beauty your right there’s literally no difference in both the characters I wonder why he chose to play in this.
I mean, I kind of expect a tragic ending.. in both ways. If they wanted to have the main leads end up together,…
Yea your right I feel like Rang’s sacrifice was valid but it just wasn’t done right. His sacrifice should have been made prestigious rather than him just disappearing in a tent smh.
Thanks for sharing, it all makes sense now. I love the writers thoughts on Rang's death. If one is not bias about his character then they will see that his sacrifice was deserving and his ending wasn't bad at all. But then I also wish that Yeon stayed dead because it wouId be a bold and non cliche ending. A drama where the hero dies is different and interesting to me. I wonder why they must've cut the picnic scene.
The coment section is terrible, people hating in this drama just because one character died!! .....in my opinion…
Exactly most people are being blinded and bias towards one character and forget to truly analyze Rang just because he stole the show. I agree his death was sad but he sacrificed himself with no regrets and it is a sort of redemption to all the evil he did, he woke up the freaking villain for the stupidest reason and that literally cause all the bad things that happened in the drama. Fantasy is hard to wrap up I’m just glad he got reincarnated meaning he now has a clean slate.
Overall this drama was good for the most part and I'm glad I didn't waste my time. As for the ending although I love Lee Yeon I kinda wish he remained dead, I feel like that would be a bold ending and not as cliche. As for Rang I loved every minute he was on screen and his death was pretty sad but looking at it from a different perspective, literally every character was ready to sacrifice themselves for someone else's cost so Rang is not an exception. And he kinda had it coming considering that he never got punished for all the innocent lives he took. And also he literally caused everything that happened, he woke up the villain because of his so called brother issues. Yes his character developed but one eventually has to pay for their actions. Although his death was sad I felt it was balanced.
I only wished his death would have been more impactful and I'm happy he got reincarnated. Even if it's not the Rang we know, I'm glad he has a loving mother and possibly a better childhood. As for the final scene, I'm so confused why would they end the drama like that, is that a hint for a second season? I feel like there's still room for more story telling. All in all I'm glad I watched.
