Good take. I found the irony of the season 1 winner to be appealing. Ironically, season one's winner wasn't the best-looking or physically fit, but he prevailed because of his perseverance and grit. The game is said to be about finding the person with the finest physique. I do believe for the most part it's all a mental game.

I love this show but I do feel it’s unfair to the women. Men have been shown to be stronger than women, and many aspects of the quest are unfavorable to women. Perhaps make a separate category exclusively for women.
I recognize and appreciate the inclusion of both genders in this, and I also know that the women signed up for this. However, if women are going to compete, please don't have them pull or push the same amount of weight as men. It is pointless to watch them compete against the guys when they have no chance of winning.
