she did such a great job and she looked stunning!!! i honestly felt some sympathy for her. i can’t imagine being married to someone, your husband doesn’t love you but loves someone else and wants nothing to do with you most days, uses you and your family’s influence, kills off you and your family and then the only thing you even had a potential to hope for (actually holding the empress position), was given to someone else. she was right when she said the position was all she could hope for in that marriage.
it also touched me that her dad actually did love and treasure her. it shouldn’t be but too often you see daughters get treated like dirt and easily discarded. seeing how upset her dad was when he realized she died made me emotional.
