On Love of Nirvana Oct 4, 2024
After a very long hiatus from the drama land, i didn't expect i would fall very hard for this drama. So far I only have Nirvana in fire and the long ballad in my top Chinese costume drama. Surprisingly, this drama is very good, 11/10. I would probably put this above NiF.

Title Mother
Compared to the Japanese one it's just awful, and just as expected they added some guy for the teacher...
So this is really the Korean remake of the Japanese drama with the same title, isn't it? Then I can see your point, because for me The Japanese version is one of my top favorite JDorama of all time even without the slightest romance in it. And I really know it would be difficult to find a child actor to match Ashida Mana.
But I can also see why they(Korean) need to add romance in it, because that's how they sell their drama (not always, but most of the time)

On Prison Playbook Feb 22, 2018
After a very long hiatus from KDrama land, this is the first KDrama I decided to watch.
I can't help but to wonder what kind of drama can topped MDL top shows ranking?
Currently I am still at episode 3, so it might be too premature for me to give it a review, but I just want to say so far so good.
The only thing that bugger me is that it reminds me a lot of Shawshank Redemption. Like a lot. the MC's background might be different, but the way they handle their new life in prison is kinda similar. Also there are several scenes that made me say "Ngg,, I've seen this before in Shawshank Redemption"
But I'll try to keep positive, maybe that's just how prison life is. And there are still 13 episodes to go. So I'm expecting some twists.
