Particularly the issues with fans, their expectations of fan service, loosing touch with reality expecting things to be "real", overstepping boundaries, overlooking toxic plots cuz the portrayed charas are hot, plus not respecting the actors/actresses rights and privacy. I could go on... Even more so your main topic of abuse. At this point, I have a hard time seeing them as anything but microaggressions. It's like, cuz now there's wokeness and people in general are cool with straight up homophobia in these shows, they are masking it by packaging it in nice little digestible, sexy, lovely, etc packages that many seem to have no problems ignoring/overlooking the problems. You know when the show messages how it's modern times and everyone can love who they want, yet then the non hetero charas are subjected to all forms of abuse, like that's normal or to be expected. Often without consequence for perpetrators and things are brushed under the rug or romanticized. In a way I find this worse, cuz it is so sneaky and deceitful... Really bugs the heck out of me and reduces enjoyment. Alright will end it here before I get too heated!
