For everyone that was wondering, it does have a happy ending.

In case you don't want to read spoilers..... I do not recommend this drama. the first few episodes were good but it feels like as though a different writer took over and the drama completely went downhill.

I would not recommend this drama based on the stupidity of the main characters...for 10 episodes or so, if she found someone who did something for her, she automatically assumed it's the main guy even when it wasn't. She started liking him because he saved her a couple of times, but each time it was only because he felt responsible.

As he fell in live with her he wanted her so stay from him because it might be dangerous for her, but each time he sees her with the other dude, he tries to win her back.

Even when he fell in love with her, to keep her safe, he pushed her away and said all these terrible things to her but she still likes him even when the second lead is way nicer to her and saves her a bunch.

Even though it's a historical drama, barely anything resembles, for example...during their time period it's only normal to have mistresses its seen as though a man has enough wealth to share and none of her shoes are historical but super modern, she even has a platform style shoes...

The worst part of this besides the main characters is the Bai Chong Ye's kid. he got kidnapped because he tried to kill someone with his pet. Later on he successfully killed someone and said it was an accident when he clearly told his pet to attack him, knowing that his pet is poisonous. Soon after he complained that he saw the dead man in his sleep and blamed the dead man for his own death, saying "It's his own fault for his death, if he didn't kill my pet then we could have created an antidote"

I will just say this, if you didn't start this drama, then don't at all. Because it's starts of as really good but by ep 12, it went downhill, and I continue this drama only because the first few episodes were good and it sucked me in.

Honestly could have skip the last episode about the main characters, seemed so forced, but I was glad to see the background story about the rabbit man.
But if you don't care about the background story, don't even watch ep 9, ep 8 seems like a better ending to the story
