to those who have read the novel, is it ok to watch this drama WITHOUT watching LBFAD?
I have read the novel and I think you'd be okay not watching LBFAD. Both dramas are just written by the same author and aren't really addressed in the book for at least LYST - but a character from LBFAD will make a cameo in LYST.

Does anyone else find the scenes between the mom and college guy boring/cringe (especially compared to the main couple)? I don't see what the young guy finds so cute about the mom's behavior with drinking, etc. - that's why I skip most of their scenes :'|
