rewatching this and noticing how they rarely acknowledged when people they were with just disappeared.. like nobody…
yup i felt the same after rewatching it after 4 years the same can be said for the girl who went missing(got eaten by zombies in school ground) when they moved from the school to gymnasium
GUYS FEW HATERS BACK TO THE DRAMA CALLING IT TOO DAUNTING. Calling Pursuit of Jade “bullshit” while binge-watching…
i mean ppl can have opinions and for most of the ppl, it is really hard to drop a drama with which u had high expectations and for me personally, it went downhill during the last episodes yes, no one should hate the actors but ppl can have opinions about the character for me, the female lead was perfect but the story collapsed in the last episodes i think that they skipped some details, the politics arc could have been more appealing and yes, it is not easy to make a flawless drama but one can always try for the flaws to be as less as possible uk the ppl who are saying "it went downhill" are the ones who truly loved the show and are just disappointed with how it ended
Not a hater, but the war plot is really messed up. Half the time, they don’t even explain anything.
In that mountain battle, it was literally 1,000 vs 30,000, but somehow the ML won just because the FL killed the general. You could argue that the enemy general only sent a small number of troops into the actual fight since their main objective was to take back Sui Yuanqing. But again, this was never explained in the drama, so that’s just my theory.
The whole mountain battle had so many loopholes. There wasn’t even a single wide shot to show the actual situation of the battle or the positioning of the armies.
And this whole flood scenario makes no sense.
So they could only let half of the people who built the dam leave. why not everyone? Like seriously, they never explained why those people were needed for the dam explosion or why “stay” meant certain death.
Yeah, the people who drew “stay” got killed by the enemy army, but again, if everyone had left, no one would have been killed in the first place.
And then when the dam actually exploded, it was so unrealistic. The ML was literally just ahead of the enemy army, but somehow only the enemy got flooded while the ML was completely safe. Like what, did the water just stop right before reaching him?
And now this second battle in the recent episodes is just crazy. I have no idea who fought whom or where the battles were happening, because it felt like three people (Li Huaihain, the ML, and General He) were fighting the same army in three different places or something.
Apart from the fact that the ML was trying to push toward the center and attack Lord Changxin, nothing else was clearly explained. or maybe i was just too dumb to notice any details they intended to show us
so 1k peeps defeated 30k peeps? or the enemy general just sent a small army to distract the marquis and get Sui Yuan Qing out of ml's control? i am confused about this part
it is very tough to watch (especially if u have been in the same shoes)
