I agree with you, I think the ending could have been better. With Character like MengShi (Emperor Zheng) ... Unifying all the 6 states might be Challenging since he is not well-liked. I am not sure if he is being seen as ruthless or crazy but to be Shi Huang Ti ... One probably need to be Respected as an Emperor, as with Wisdom, Knowledge, Magnanimous, Benevolence ... etc
