might be the odd one out as i haven't read all the comments, but this was OK, i have seen better shortime-BL's from Korea for sure. the whole premise was a WTF is going on & personally i think it was illogical.
they could've just kept it as an office romance / triangle where Tae In feels for Yeong Won, seeing him get assaulted by his bf/ex or being humiliated by his ex's new gf/fiancé. there were so many opportunities where anyone would want to intervene & come to the defense of Yeong Won. even someone as stoic & aloof as Tae In must have a humane side - he didn't have a side quest when he agreed to let the woman (his father set him up with) hold his arm on the way out, as a last goodbye. so he couldn't find compassion in his heart for someone that worked under him for 5 yrs?!?
the whole Yeong Won programed the scenario in the game he was working on & it applied to him - somehow? even though i have to wonder, can one get shocked via the mouse?!?? seems far-fetched.
& who was the dude with the mullet?!? if he was Ha Yeong "brother" (as they both grew up in the same orphanage), then why he f*ck her over?!? for money? the mains weren't offering him any, so why suddenly help them?? also he suddenly pops up & helps Yeong Won solve the programing glitch - who is he? a god? like the Greek gods as they the only ones who wanna seduce humans & he kept trying to lure Yeong Won.
if u ignore all the game quest crap this was good. it was well acted & interesting. would've loved if Yeong Won stood-up for himself more & didn't let Gyeong Un gaslight him, let alone abuse him. yeah love makes u stupid & u let people walk all over u, but there were so many red flags & at what point does one say enough is enough?!? & Tae In came to Yeong Won's help in the stairwell when he got punched, that should've been the end of that relationship, in that moment IMO as no matter what ur going through in ur own world, when an outside intervenes that's a sobering moment.
& given the moronic quest i don't fault Tae In for ghosting Yeong Won after he achieved his goal; 1 he wasn't gay. 2 he might as well have been A-sexual & 3 he forced himself into interacting & coming to Yeong Won rescue... when sh*t is force on u, even if u have a change of heart ur knee jerk reaction is to retreat to what u r used too the sec u r free & to him that was distancing himself for Yeong Won - going back to working around the clock. as he needed time to figure out his own feelings. so if u ignore the quest crap this was good, but cause of it, this was just ok.
