i really love Min Ji, she got guts (unlike her mother), but she should've known better then to get into a car with a person she came to confront (the "bad-guy"), she for sure needs a stronger parental figure, the fact that Hye Seung's is back to cowering is frustrating me to no end. **************************************************************************************************************& i am sorry, but if anyone threatened my child (& i don't have children) i wouldn't wait for that person to add threats, but would make it clear that if anything happened to my child or they hurt one hair on their head, i would search them out & scalp them, slowly! to damn with rules & laws. *********************************************************************************************Hye Seung's passive, submissive approach to things is rubbing me the wrong way. especially when she needs to safeguard her child, from a crazy, immoral person like Yoo Hee. her "talking to"/blaming her dead husband was stupid - cause sorry that's the past & NOW the fault lies squarely at her own two feet. she should've done better to shield her own child from Yoo Hee.*******************************************************************************************************************************************the masquerade ball could've been so much more fun, if Hye Seung didn't just throw jabs & walk off. i would be laughing my ass off every time she acted the damsel in distress. as is Hye Seung not there cause she's looking for a partner, so why not have fun? especially at Yoo Hee's expense＼（〇_ｏ）／lost opportunity if u ask me

pretty sure Hye Seung is looking for Yoo Hee & not some man at the masquerade ball, yet she didn't notice the tattoo on the shoulder that bumped into her?!? plz **************************************************************************************************************************but did like that in this ep, she didn't look terrified every time she had a confrontation with Yoo Hee. as is Yoo Hee's doing too much - Hye Seung has done nothing that is worthy of Yoo Hee being this paranoid, let alone fixated on her - unless its her guilty conscience.. either way she is really scary & obsessive. **********************************************************************************************************************************************also Kim Ji Sun [Rex Manager] is really unprofessional, she keeps reporting needless things, adding fuel to a none existent flame. which is fueling Yoo Hee paranoia regarding Hye Seung. **********************************************************************************************************************************************i know Hyung Joo is the ML & he's very good looking & maybe is ML worthy in other regards too. but i have a soft spot for Cha Seok Jin, who sadly i have a feeling will end up the SML, who wont get the girl. idk why K-drama writer's have to make the SML always this pitiful - like having a miserable childhood & solitary adulthood wasn't enough - the women he will fall for, he will end up not getting either ＼（〇_ｏ）／ why he not worthy of a "happily ever after"!?? what grudge the K-drama writer's got against SML's idk(ノへ￣、)**********************************************************************************************************************************************side note: i Really love how Choi Yoo Sun is styled. as is she so tall & being quite thin she could look unproportionate with the wrong styling - but the majority of her wardrobe only compliments her body-type.(wish Hye Seung was better styled 😫).

seeing Kim Hee Sun as the submissive, insecure, cowering Hye Seung is such a 180, from her as Goo Ryun in Tomorrow. Hye Seung needs a bit of Goo Ryun's anger & kickassness... i get being dependent in every way on someone so much so that the sec u lose that "support" u feel like u r free-falling into the unknown & there aint nothing more terrifying then that, especially when u got a child to support. ********************************************************************************************************plus when ur blindside like she was (with the sudden divorce request), i get her still trying to hold on... but after getting played once why she readily believed what her husband told her? cause he ended his life? or cause she needed to believe he just got duped by a femme fatale & wasn't a bad-guy that had been lying & cheating for who knows how long, but it was the other woman that had lead him astray - like he some innocent babe ＼（〇_ｏ）／......********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************cause IMO Kang Nam Sik is a total douche, that kinda deserved what he got. he betrayed not only his wife but his whole family. choosing the "out" he was adding insult to injury (as a lawyer he KNEW that all his debts & problems would be heaped upon his family - i.e. his wife). so not enough he betrayed & then abandoned her & his child, he now was leaving all his mess for her to deal with/pay for?!? but cause he was conned by Yoo Hee, so he not the bad-guy, she is?!? or cause he couldn't see an out so he took his own life, so he deserves our pity? really??? sorry - doesn't work that way!********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************yeah Yoo Hee a bit of a psycho & one heck of a con-woman. she already got what she wanted from Nam Sik, but that wasn't enough she needed to destroy him & his family??? why ask him to divorce his wife? why turn to his wife with her sob story? i didn't see the logic in her involving Hye Seung, unless she bored & so sadistic she needed to destroy anyone that came into contact with her - hard to "get" this type of personality or thought process.... ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************hope as this progresses Hye Seung grows the kickass backbone she had in Tomorrow & stops being a pushover! cause she looked terrified half of this ep - which i get & yet it wasn't fun to watch. so for her daughters sake (who showed more grit then her mother) i hope she gets stronger.

his was great and knowing that the lead (i was rooting for all along) isn't among us anymore, made the whole ending goodbye - eerie... bittersweet for sure.******************************************************************************************************************************************would've loved more, but they came full circle with the midtown collapse they started off with - and its beside me why people keep looking for a romance between both leads, there wasn't even a hint of attraction between them, all along they were mentor and mentee - and that was perfect - why muddle the waters with emotional claptrap?!? **********************************this was perfect the way it way, not a boring moment and for sure a rewatch, of course happily recommend this...

this episode was hard to view, i had to stop and take a break - not cause of the content but the pity party Shin Chul was throwing himself. i get he was feeling guilty, that maybe there was a chance he was at fault for Jae Geun's death. but still too give up not only on himself but the whole team of Argon was moronic. isn't it a reports job to find out the truth - so why lock yourself away and act guilty - when he knew he didn't threaten Jae Geun, yeah he hounded him - like reporter do, but if that is ur personality and he aint a spring chicken that has just started out on his job - he had been doing this for decades, to cave in the sec it gets tough, was annoying and hard to swallow.*****************************************************************************************************************************************oh well this is short anyway.. only one more episode to go - out with a bang? fizz out quietly?

WTH was going on, the report was rigged by the company - for what purpose? to mislead Ahn Jae Geun (as they suspected he might betray them and leak the news) or Ahn Jae Geun did it to mislead Shin Chul and get him off his back?? and why he then chose to commit suicide?******************************************************************************************************************************************and why is Baek Jin leaving Aragon?!? where he gonna move to, he still gonna be a reporter so what's he trying to achieve - just wants of ot team Aragon?? cause of Shin Chul saying he voted for Yoo (which was a d*ck move, he could've voted for a neutral guy instead of the enemy. as he rushed to accuse Baek Jin, when he wasn't even involved - guess love blinds, where he forgot the character of the person he has worked closely with for decades) or cause he thinks it time for new blood to take over??******************************************************************************************************************************************side note - have said this before but will say it again, i'm happy with the existing relationship between Baek Jin and Yun Hwa - they gold as they r - no romance needed - the chemistry between them is way powerful and trying to force them into any romantic situation would sully the situation - as another commenter also mentioned - him being her senior not only in age, but work experience and someone she looks up to and wants to learn from, it is a different dynamic - so just nope....

if i was Korean and Anyone asked me out for a meal, i would say "sorry, i'm fasting" - i seriously donno why they like to f*ck with peoples appetite - u don't do that. ask someone out an just so u can insult them or berate them while they r trying to eat - who wouldn't lose their appetite or choke on the food on the way to their stomachs - this is unnecessarily cruel. **********************the sec Soo Min took Hye Ri out for a meal - heck when Hye Ri wondered why she was calling, i knew it was gonna be bad -but Hye Ri assuming it was coming from Baek Jin, or the whole team was moronic - and the go-to alcohol, is really annoying - that solve what??*****************************************************************************************************************************************side note - WTH kinda confession was that from Soo Min - and why only 10yrs. Baek Jin's kid is 15 so five yrs after she was born Soo Min fell for her bff's, bf?!? needs to get her facts straight, cause from what she said in a previous episode she meet Baek Jin in college, and liked him then - while he fell for her bff. so either Seo Woo is really 10 (she looks around that age lol) or Soo Min's bad at calculating the time she knows Baek Jin.

Baek Jin knows there is a mole on his team, why doesn't he or Shin Chul try to find out who it is, seeing that Jin Hee backstab her teams continuously is so infuriating - the fact that she has saved Yoo in her phone as "my darling" how revolting. what she also f*cking him - like how gross can u get.*****************************************************************************************************************************************wasn't sure about Choi Geun Hwa, like he keeps acting neutral - and didn't know which side he was on. like did her genuinely like Baek Jin and was on his side or was he just faking it. considering the revel in this episode he genuinely likes Baek Jin - sad.*****************************************************************************************************************************************donno about Baek Jin's move to "news 9", he is Aragon - what will it become without him(?) i'm like Yun Hwa i don't want him to "move". but on the other hand i Really don't want Yoo in a position of absolute power - as is his always threatening to hit people, is getting under my skin i wanna hurt him - bad.

Yoo Myung Ho is such a corrupt MOFO and his tendency to just go off - ugh donno what pisses me off more - i just want someone to punch him in the face and shut him up. but he is a kissass so people like him tend to succeed in the corporate world.glad Baek Jin is smarter than him, and has a found a way to get to the truth and broadcast it before Myung Ho gets a heads up from his mole (Jin Hee the two-faced b*tch) and stop Baek Jin.******************************************************************************************************************************************Jong Tae is a sweet weirdo, but hope did his item get scooped - did someone leak the info - was he backstabbed or just bad luck?!?******************************************************************************************************************************************Baek Jin and Yun Hwa's chemistry is rockin - the only bit that makes me mini-cringe is the fact that he is her senior in some decades. she might not be underage - but still cause she is such a novice and he is someone she looks up to, turning this into anything other then a great mentor mentee relationship is a bit yucky to me... maybe with time ---

first off the reason Baek Jin was treating Yun Hwa like dirt, was cause he thought she leaked info to Myung Ho, who made them drop the follow-up article. even thought he found out that she was a "mercenary" in the previous episode, he was ready to be "ok" with her and treat her like everyone else until the leak. then he was sure that she was the "rat" so kinda understand his behavior. considering she isn't the "mole" i get why he comes off a major douche - but he wasn't to blame.. and after everything going on, who could blame him for jumping to conclusions. as is there is no one in that place who has his back, and he has to worry about his subordinates. so everything considered, i get it.*******************************************************************************************************************************************feel sorry for his daughter, with all due respect to teen angst and people faulting her cause of it - she has every right to act the way she does. its grating to see but when she has to basically raise herself, with an absent parent why should she show him any respect? he left this poor child to deal with her mother's sickness and death all alone - how did that effect her? even special occasion like wedding anniversary become extra special, as that day is now meant to commemorate the dead loved one, but is forgotten by him - why should she not be pissed 24/7? her acting out is a cry for help - a cry so he would stop and take notice - how sad is that?!? *****************************************************************************************************************like i said in the previous episode he is a good man but people like him who r already married to their job, shouldn't have personal lives - cause they will just end up ignoring and hurting them.*******************************************************************************************************************************************Yun Hwa needs to stop being so meek - the reason we hate reports is cause they r pushy, annoying - with little to no regard to basic decency, or the privacy of another. so why she keep walking on eggshells in that place. she is called a "mercenary" - say "f*ck it" and act like one(!) she needs to stand-up for herself especially in front of people like Baek Jin and the rest of team "Argon".*******************************************************************************************************************************************side note - the best friend is whatever - i don't like her, she is a grown woman and she should know better, so the one u loved married ur best friend and ur still hanging around - why? pathetic really...

just saw Heung-boo: The Revolutionist and cause of Kim Joo Hyuk r.i.p, checked out the other stuff he has done and saw this drama with only 8 episodes - short but sweet i thought. OMO the roller coaster, my head is still spinning from all the emotional turmoil that i viewed. this is So good! phenomenal comes to mind - reminds me off The NewsRoom (American) & The Hour (British) two other immensely great shows about journalism, that i loved and enjoyed.*******************************************************************************************************************************************Yoo Myung Ho [HBC] represents all that is bad in the world of journalism, really despicable character that had no problem defaming an innocent human, just cause he could damn the consequences that his family would suffer - and the fact that this kind of person is in a role of authority that enables him to not only rank and rave but physically assault his subordinates is mind boggling and scary!*******************************************************************************************************************************************for now really loving every character, not sure about some - but time will tell. feel sorry for Baek Jin, as he seems like a good person, but he is the kind that is too dedicated (obsessed) to his job, and anything additional really doesn't have a place, like his family or daughter. sad really that a good person is hurting the one person they should safeguard.

glad the last ep didn't have me depressed or balling my eyes out... OMO but this was a depressing drama & yet i aint sorry i watched it. *******************************************************************************************************************************************the writer did a hell of a job with every issue depicted (in each ep). every subject was researched & given the gravitas it deserved. never felt (even for a sec) that it was exploitative or rushed & brushed off when ep ended (as have seen in other dramas). little wonder it hit so hard & a lot of people ended-up weeping nonstop.*******************************************************************************************************************************************am glad how they choose to end this drama. i for one don't think there should be another season. u don't mess with perfection & 16 ep's is more then enough to cover almost all of the reasons people choose to "give-up"... IMO *******************************************************************************************************************************************great acting by all. would recommend but doubt would rewatch...

i love Joon Woong the most in this drama, love his personality but here/this time, he was a bit to blasé for my liking. u've been given the task of babysitting someone on the verge... u don't leave them & go off. like he did - & if u gotta, then u don't take ur sweet time. even when his phone started beeping, what he do - call Goo Ryun. like u serious?!? shouldn't he have rushed up to Ryu Cho Hui??? everything in that scene was in slowmo, when he needed to haulass ( ˘︹˘ )*****************************************************************************************************************************************& i know people blaming the father - who is despicable, but how is the mother or sister any better?!? Ryu Cho Hui literally got no one she can lean on - even for emotional support. not shocking she shattered as she did. *****************************************************************************************************************************************Park Joong Gil did bad, but ironically he did it out of anger & frustration - not knowing what he was doing or the ramifications of his actions. no one is ready to enlighten him & hearing that Goo Ryun took her own life was enough for him to see red. as i wrote in a past comment, i had a feeling he is angry at a person that he loved, that killed their selves abandoning him. was right. *****************************************************************************************************************************************side note: Goo Ryu might have physically taken her own life, but she was pushed into doing it. guess she doesn't get point for that (⊙_⊙;)

the victim blaming & shaming is nothing new - maybe nowadays it's gotten a bit better. but there nothing new under the sun. poor women were abducted & found a way to make it back, only to be rejected at the gate - like what logic is this, idk＼（〇_ｏ）／then to add insult to injury the public kept shaming them wherever they went. like how cruel can one be. am 99% sure those women were a reminder of their incompetence. so better to get rid of the "evidence" (of how they couldn't safe-guard their own people) then face the harsh reality, that they failed those women.*****************************************************************************************************************************************Goo Ryun's mother-in-law was a piece of work, not just cause she was a woman, but she was a woman that was saved by the women she was now pushing over the edge. but am also sure her motivation was cause Goo Ryun had yet gotten pregnant. so she wanted a new girl that would get pregnant soon & give her the grandchild she wanted.*****************************************************************************************************************************************i don't see Joong Gil as someone who would take his own life, maybe he did it by rushing into battle & do it that way. but wonder why he doesn't remember, while Goo Ryun does.
