cute ep, without a ton of drama, a lot of fun wholesome moments. which r always welcome as they give a breather (⊙∇⊙;) from all the "drama".*****************************************************************************************************************************************also love seeing Mao Chong & Han Bo, love this version of them - in Addicted, Mao Chong's counterpart was a total douche & a bully to a sweet, helpless Yang Meng (Han Bo's counterpart there) & i didn't like how he was the "boy pulling on the pigtails of the girl, he likes" - here they r friend's, that have gotten closer. am totally enjoying their blooming friendship (even though have yet to mention them in most of my comment's, but that was cause there was so much going on, with the main plot (ノへ￣、)).****************************************************************************************************************************************also love the friendship between Su Yu, Mao Chong & Han Bo cause here unlike in the original the sec Gu Hai came into Bai Luo Yin life everyone else got pushed to the side. here that isn't the case, which feels more natural & logical. yeah Wu Bi gets jealous when Su Yu hangs with his old friends, but he has yet to come between them or made it so they can't approach Su Yu. this a healthier relationship IMHO

Xiao San might have given birth, but that doesn't make her a mother. her motivation isn't out of love or care, it's desperation & a need to fill her empty life. maybe am being harsh but i doubt she really cares for Su Yu, he just a prop for her to use to fill her time - her husband doesn't need her, she has nothing else to fill her days. so she's bored & lonely - would feel sorry for her, but her actions just frustrate me. ****************************************************************************************************************************************she's so bored & jealous of the life she isn't a part of (Su Yu's life) that she's investigating Zhi Gang's new wife & step-daughter?!? & if that wasn't enough, the disparaging remark's & then the moronic plan to buy her way into Duo Duo's good grace's, so she hypes her up to Su Yu & Wu Bi ＼（〇_ｏ）／****************************************************************************************************************************************if she was a real mother, she would know better then to try & approach a child she doesn't know, let alone buy her stuff. even at Duo Duo's age she knows better then to get into a strangers cars, why would she accept gifts from strangers?? this woman is beyond moronic - she also doesn't care for anyone & that's why she just does things, without asking/consulting her son (anyone for that matter) as to what he wants - u can't force gifts on-to ur son & then act hurt, that he isn't jumping for joy (ノへ￣、)*******************************************************************************************************************************************find it ironic that the girl that tried to confess to Su Yu at the start of this & got annoyed when he rejected her, has turned into a fujoushi. especially as she looked hella salty when she saw Wu Bi being all cozy with Su Yu. but fine - better then another witch waiting on the sidelines to create chaos ~(>◡<。)

if the 1st thing someone does is go to the room of their dear departed 1st wife, when they got a live one vying for their attention - that's a major warning sign, if i've ever seen one. *************************************************************************have a feeling Zheng Hao got married to Xiao San not cause he loved her, or cause they were cheating, but cause he thought Wu Bi needed a mother in his life & as he couldn't seem to get through to his son, he felt a female touch was needed to calm the angsty teen. ************************************************************************************************************************************he really cares for his son, but is incapable of expression his emotion's (cause men don't do that (•̀_•́) little wonder the relationship between father & son is this bad. ****************************************************************************************it also explains why Wu Bi is infatuated with Su Yu's family - pity the father's anger & envy r blinding him to the reality of why he son wants to be a part of that family. Xiao San's advise was b.s. as she as clueless as too why, anyone would wanna hang out with dirty, poor people ******************************************************************************************************************************************money is important in life, but happiness, warmth, empathy & sympathy, pure love without strings r not thing ones can buy. Wu Bi has found this & more with Su Yu & his family, it's plain to the eye - pity the father is incapable of understanding that his son needs his love more then he needs his credit card ＼（〇_ｏ）／

idk why women need to be portrayed like Wan Ying in BL's - somehow it seems like u gotta justify why guys end up with guys - it's cause all the women r witches. pretty sure that aint the case. as if it was, all the men in this drama should've turned to male companions to lick their wounds ＼（〇_ｏ）／ (yeah even Zhi Gang, as he was over a decade alone before the aunt came into his life) so i wish they would stop - with this annoying trope. *****************************************************************************************************************************************glad Su Yu found the balls to let Wan Ying down, until now it felt like he didn't want to reject her cause he was being gentlemanly & not cause he still had feelings for her. sadly she is very good at manipulating the men around her. so glad this time around her act didn't work on Su Yu & he finally rejected her (⊙x⊙;) idk why that moron Mo Yi still had her tagging along, after finding out she was batting her eyes at Wu Bi - but that's /she's his problem - so never mind.****************************************************************************************************************************************glad the guys made up - been a couple of rough ep's for both & somehow they found a way to make peace. glad as they really have come to rely on each other.****************************************************************************************************************************************side note: how sad is Xiao San's life? she got the money & the statues she craved & she is even more miserable then before, plus now she is isolated. what a pitiful life she is leading ( ˘︹˘ )

might be nitpicking, but the way those 2 goons beat Su Yu - i doubt in real life he would be able to walk a few hrs later, let alone just have some bruise's on his face - he should be black & blue, let alone bloodied ＼（〇_ｏ）／ the human body is much more fragile then portrayed in drama's & movies, this how morons get hurt in real life, thinking what they see there is reality (ノへ￣、)*****************************************************************************************************************************************Wan Ying is one heck of an actress - she played both boys. but i can't blame Su Yu, other then the fact she hella convincing, Wu Bi's always manipulating the truth, let alone he's lied countless times until now, which makes it hard for a body to fully trust him. so not surprised Su Yu can't automatically accept his version. plus there a part of me that wonders is Su Yu jealous of the idea that Wu Bi could have fallen for Wan Ying.****************************************************************************************************************************************also Wu Bi keeping quite is what came back to bite him, the sec he 'got' who Wan Ying was he should've either confronted her in front of Su Yu, or told Su Yu everything (& he had enough evidence to do that).now i guess he is taking a chapter out of her book & lying to his cousin - thinking Mo Yi will get rid of her. but does that get rid of the problem? Mo Yi dumps her, but now she's free to hound Su Yu... this not a win win situation - this just complicates matters ~(>_<。)＼

well this was a mess - but before anything that cousin & that annoying ponytail just rub me the wrong way. what is the point of that? is his hair even long enough＼（〇_ｏ）／ ugh ( ˘︹˘ )it's like guys with combovers, unless he's got a mullet - which somehow is just grosser. so already didn't like him - add his stuck-up attitude, didn't make me warm up to him any. his dating a 17 yr old was the least of my concerns... considering their families know each other, pretty sure it was arranged & approved by her parents.*****************************************************************************************************************************************the fact she's acting coy, boldly lying to Su Yu bothered me more. what is she playing at?!? she lied by saying she wasn't dating, lied that she only came back for him - what is her game?!? & her standing passively just saying "don't fight" is she "slow"?!? was that a fight?!? 2 random strangers just jump the guy u supposedly care for & the only thing u can muster is that shame of a show??? b*tch plz - go back to the stuck-up A-hole that's a better fit for an exploiter like u***************************************************************************************************************************************the fact Wu Bi's jealousy & thoughtlessness got Su Yu hurt is ridiculous & not just talking about the goons that were meant to spy on the pair, but also his douche-bag of a cousin. the things he was saying were demeaning not just hurtful, towards Su Yu & his family. if anything that little convo Wu Bi had with his cousin went to show why Su Yu was weary or rich people - ironic or what (ノへ￣、)

glad that everything worked out for the better - Su Yu wasn't pushed aside by the new wife & child (like he feared, even if he wasn't willing to voice this fear) & he didn't have to leave the fold. which was absurd IMHO as the whole point of that group, was how familial they were without being related. they organically came together & made that group into family, a wholesome one at that. **************************************************************************************************************************** so why would that dynamic change, just cause the adults in that group decided to tie the knot ＼（〇_ｏ）／ they the same people, their feelings for the other individual's in that group were the same, so why would they want to push any of their family members out.*****************************************************************************************************************************************also was glad that the "aunt" thought of living in a bigger house to give room to her adult step-son & her growing daughter (btw that house seems huge to me, i don't get how that big compound has just 2 rooms - it's weird even if we don't get a 180 view of the place). *****************************************************************************************************************************but i guess then no moving in together.( ˘︹˘ ) which i liked, that here Wu Bi rented the adjacent house (unlike Addicted, where they moved into Gu Hai's room rented/bought by his father). this also takes care of the bored intrusive step-mother.*****************************************************************************************************************************************this woman is insufferable, the way she's acting i doubt her new hubby will put up with her sh*t any longer (≧∇≦)ﾉ heck he had enough with her over the phone, he just cut the call. she unlike the mother in Addicted is really unlikeable) even her trying to get close to her son comes off as self serving. its cause she is bored & she wants to play at being a mother not cause she cares about her son (ノへ￣、)

that wasn't nice of Su Yu, he took out his frustration on hearing Wu Bi was transferring, on his father. that was uncalled for, it was like kicking a puppy (┬┬﹏┬┬)*****************************************************************************************************************************************also didn't like Wu Bi getting angry at his buds. they might have been in the wrong for posting the stuff about Su Yu & his mom online. but they did it for him, so he didn't need to kick them to retract the post. but he's volatile, so little wonder he doesn't have anyone he considers a friend. even Su Yu, the only reason he got close to him was cause he envied his relationship with his father & he also felt a type of comradery, as he assumed that Su Yu also lost a mother. the attraction he feels for Su Yu isn't for Su Yu the person, but his family unit that's warm, loving & welcoming... something that's missing dearly from his own life -****************************************************************************************************************************************& like others mentioned Duo Duo is the MVP, she's not just smart - but also very considerate & loving. her searching out Wu Bi cause she felt bad for him, was so heartwarming & wholesome. almost every ep i tear up or find something hilarious. all the hype around this is justified (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

well the lie didn't last long - thought it would be dragged out a bit more. what i loved, as much as Su Yu was infuriated at both Wu Bi & his father, he couldn't take out his anger on his father - who could?!? dude so pure & full of good intentions that no one can really stay angry for long, no matter what he does. this drama got a ton of really touching scene that breaks my heart. the character's r well written & superbly acted!*****************************************************************************************************************************************& ironically Zheng Hao & Wu Bi's scenes were as heartwarming - cause no matter how much they butt-heads, u can see that Zheng Hao's actions & words steam from love & care. he genuinely cares for Wu Bi's well being. he might not see eye to eye with his son, or even know a better was to communicate how much he cares & worries, but he does. it's plain to the eye****************************************************************************************************************************************Xiao San on the other hand (ノへ￣、) she's living in a world of her own, where she just sees everything through a lens of how it effects or benefits her. even when others r talking, it doesn't register. it filters through her lens & we back to her self involved ass ~(>_<。)＼ idk if she's dumb, oblivious or what... ＼（〇_ｏ）／****************************************************************************************************************************************Su Yu & Wu Bi butting heads is logical as they both care for the other & don't wanna break their friendship, but cause of the lie they angry at the deception - which is more the realization about who they really r to each other (i.e step-siblings). but also don't know how to back down - so they letting their hormones take over - boys will be boys (⊙_⊙;)

Su Yu is gonna murder both his dad & Wu Bi, their lies have snowballed out of proportions - as it goes with lies (⊙_⊙;) it's funny, but don't envy either guy. Su Yu will feel so betrayed & hurt after all this building of trust & friendship that's developed between them, might make him wonder if it was all fake (ノへ￣、)****************************************************************************************************************************************also like how here, the plot at places is flipped - like (the previous ep) Su Yu brought/bought Wu Bi food. same with teasing his counterpart with food. here Wu Bi is the one teasing Su Yu - which is the other way round in Addicted.****************************************************************************************************************************************know i might be the odd one out, but kinda felt bad for Zheng Hao (Wu Bi's dad) in this ep. he might come off as the bad-guy. as he is very strict with Wu Bi - maybe in his eyes justifiably so. but given they been alone without another parent to shoulder the responsibilities or support needed to raise a child, this is his way of making sure his son doesn't turn out to be a spoilt brat, that's rotten to the core. so he gives him enough space to do his thing, but reins him in the sec he feels the boundaries have been crossed. & as Wu Bi's an angsty teen (even without the new mother in the mix) he would not get along with his parents. now he doesn't just need to deal with his hormonal son, but his "depressed" new-wife that's throwing herself pity parties - falling alseep blind drunk cause she misses her son so much. & he feels like for some peace & quite he needs to fix everything - this time around didn't resent him as much as i did the OG dad in Addicted. this approach was good intentioned IMHO

so many thoughts pop-up while watching & yet the sec it's over, can't find anything to say (¬‿¬)******************************************************************************************************************************************Su Yu's mother is really beautiful, but a head case. she should be happy & yet she always finds a reason to throw herself a pity party. she's to self absorbed - thinking the world revolves around her - that's why she is having a hard time understanding why her son doesn't want any type of relationship with her, ironically same goes for her step-son. u don't need to be a genius to get that he might be resentful just cause she is stepping into his dead mothers shoes & even trying to bring her son into the fold, more or less ousting him. in her sons case she abandoned him, the fact she always thought of him doesn't make the pain of abandonment go away. if she wants any type of relationship with him, she can't just show up & expect to be welcomed with opened arms, she needs to work hard at showing remorse & ask for his opinion as he Not a child.****************************************************************************************************************************************also if she abandoned Su Yu & his father 10 yrs ago, & Wu Bi lost his mother 6 yrs ago - is he right; did she get close to his family in order to get the father??? & there was some shady goings on... as she was Wu Bi's mothers "new" friend so what gives....****************************************************************************************************************************************really enjoying the boys & not just talking about the mains, love Mao Chong & Bo Kuang's scenes they sweet. also like Duo, she's a smart kid & felt bad for her as she like Wu Bi wants the extended family that group has created.

so much happening in this ep - i get why Duo Duo treated that boy badly & yet i didn't like it. even though getting even by hurting her back, wasn't the way to go(ノへ￣、) but seeing him wait the whole day for her, was kinda cute & endearing. pretty sure he didn't mean to hurt her by saying she didn't have a dad. just children being child, running off at the mouth, without thinking of how it will effect the person in front of them.*****************************************************************************************************************************************reading other comments & their unavoidable comparison with the OG actors, have to say this is something that bothered me at the start. as to me too the chemistry between Timmy & Johnny made Luo Yin & Gu Hai come alive & couldn't see anyone else portraying these character's, but them. but (maybe cause of the name change) i don't find myself comparing between the newbies & the OG's. this is just different - even the plot isn't copy-paste. so am just enjoying this as is & not once have i thought, of the OG pair.****************************************************************************************************************************************Wu Bi, whom i didn't like at the start, breaks my heart - almost every scene there is a back drop of a warm, homely scene full of love & happiness & he is the outsider peering in (┬┬﹏┬┬) u can feel how lonely, sad & desperate he is to connect, to what he see's in Su Yu's family unit. u can see the envy & it's truly heartbreaking to me. Su Yu might be poor in the financial sense of things ,but he is truly rich when it comes to his home life & surroundings ~(>_<。)＼

those grown ass men got nothing better to do, then rob kids?!? like seriously - am used to seeing kids bully kids. but this was new - does this really happen in China? where small-time street thugs prey on kids? ****************************************************also didn't get why the day after, when Su Yu & Wu Bi saw them waiting outside again, they didn't go to a teacher or something＼（〇_ｏ）／ it's all good & well that Wu Bi saved Su Yu, & Su Yu is now training, but what about other kids that can be potential victims of those morons?!?******************************************************************************************************************************************also found it ironic how both Wu Bi & Zhi Gang needed to lie to Su Yu, so each covered for the other. have a feeling when Su Yu finds out, who Wu Bi's father is, it wont be pleasant for either father or friend (⊙◡⊙;)／******************************************************************************************************************************************side note: maybe just me, but the dude playing Wu Bi reminds me of Xu Kai, they could be related for all i know - they aint. but going by looks, they could be - just me (●'◡'●)?

love Su Yu's father - so didnt accept to cry in this, totally teared up at the end scene where he is talking to Wu Bi, & have to say seeing Zhi Gang's sweet (almost child-like) personality i kinda get why he & Xiao San (Su Yu's mother) would never work out - their personality r like oil & water. maybe at the start they were attracted to each other, but as time passed their difference's would tear them apart. so idk if she was the cause of Wu Bi's mothers death (hinted at in the original drama) but i kinda get why she & Zhi Gang would never work out, no matter the circumstances. *****************************************************************************************************************************************this is really interesting & like where the plot has been changed, it gives almost every character more "meat" & what little there is of some side character's, is enough to draw a picture of who they r - also like that Bo Kuang isn't as airhead & yet still loveable. Mao Chong on the other hand, is such an improvement & not as obnoxious as his counterpart You Qi in Addicted. which i like. ******************************************************************************************************************************************Wu Bi is the typical rich boy bully that's hard to love. but u see a humane side to him (like when he was interacting with Zhi Gang. how ironic that here Wu Bi warms up to the father, before he does to the son (❁´◡`❁) kinda adorable & heart breaking (⊙◡⊙;)

kinda get why the names (like the title) have been changed & yet kinda bummer (about the names) cause now have to keep guessing who i whom. know this nit-picky, as will get used to the new names & associate them with their counterparts in Addicted Heroine, but it bugged me. also the plot has been tweaked, but i don't mind that as much. there r parts that it's even better cause it helps u understand things that were brushed off to further the plot in the original drama.& usually don't notice the OST (unless it's really good or really bad (¬‿¬)) & yeah this bad. also r the mains famous?!? that they getting this prolonged face-revel scenes?!? that & the music totally annoyed me. hope this stops (ノへ￣、)*****************************************************************************************************************************************the guys playing Su Yu & Han Bo Kuang r really(!) good looking - other then these 2, the rest r meeh looks wise. sure Wu Bi will grow on me (as he's the main) but (maybe mean of me to say) he Doesn't fit the role of Gu Hai＼（〇_ｏ）／ maybe will change my mind - but that's how i feel after the 1st ep.****************************************************************************************************************************************i like Su Yu's dad, he is sweet in the village idiot sort of way (⊙_⊙;) & also like the village aunties gossiping. the vibe is very wholesome & warm. the tree hugging scene while Su Yu tried to rip off the plaster from his dad's back, was the highlight of this ep IMHO (≧∇≦)ﾉ but there were a lot of funny moments. & found it so ironic that Wu Bi's dad wanted the "sons" together, so the get along - wink wink lol.. little does he know
