The Director Who Buys Me Dinner Episode 1

this was very cute n sweet, even made me smile at bits, but it wasn't as hilarious as others made it seem. still promising start to a webtoon i really loved n enjoyed (❁´◡`❁) now lets hope this follows suit n doesn't go to hell by the end ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note - seeing the actors - new ones at that, had a thought. unlike Thai BL's (or even BL's for other countries) in Korea u don't get the same actors appearing more then once in a BL themed drama. idk if that good or bad - just a random observation

all wrapped in a sweet little bow, but jaded ol me is skeptical at this rainbow n roses finish (not that it can't happen in real life) but like mentioned in the past, i aint that easy to forgive or forget. so being this big hearted towards people that played me meeh idk if i could get over it in a yr, ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ call me pettyヾ(≧▽≦*)o *************************************************************in the previous ep wondered why this ep was needed, as ep 8 could easily be the end. but get more character's need to show growth. Satsuki (who's running for sainthood>﹏<) had to slay her final dragon (≧∇≦)ノ meeting Morishita Sakuji. ironic or not that she finally broke through the ice surrounding his heart (much needed for this "happy ending" where almost every character shows growth). same with Akiko getting noticed, by not one but 2 men - wedding bells in the future?!? or just enough of a sign she ready to move on n forgive her ex, coexist in peace with him n his partner?!? or Kotaro n Shinji, now being able to legalize their partnership. ************************************************************************************************************small sweet moments that for sure didn't make this a sad ending, in-spite the fact neither of the mains got paired. but think that wasn't the point of this drama. as is the J-drama's tend to be preachy, where ur taught to love the sinner, forgive the sin n be self-sacrificing. so not my POV(ノω<。)ノbut used to this type of message as it's a recurring theme in a ton of J-movies/dramas). **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************an even thought to skip the long awaited resolution between Shiraishi & Riku, but didn't - and it was heartbreaking in a way to see them (and yet repeat what i said in the previous ep, just cause ur hurting, Doesn't justify hurting others!) so know everyone would love the guys together. but think this was the adult way to end things. making peace, growing, learning n adapting - being in a place where u can now be in each others lives, without hurting. so yeah there a lot that i didn't like, but enjoyed this all the same...

the positives; loved how much Satsuki has grown (she still too forgiving, considerate n understanding for my liking). but guess this ingrained in her (in the Japanese society) where even if u hate, despises someone, u wouldn't out n out insult them, but still strictly abide by rules drilled into u from childhood. But the fact she finally thinking about herself (small steps) like that interview (≧▽≦*) was hilarious, showing she on the right track. *******************************************************************Risako, Satsuki's mom cutting the umbilical cord n letting her daughter be free to live her life, let alone finally working on ways to enliven her own. now that whole scene was a joy to watch. **********************************************************************same with the peaceful, friendly conciliatory conversation between Satsuki n Go. they finally can be considered childhood friends, good ones at that. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the negative's; that whole confrontation in the woods (like mentioned above Satsuki too forgiving, compassionate n understanding). that whole scene wouldn't go the same way if i was involved, cause would be uninterested in trying to help out 2 guys (that cause of their own personally fears) were using me in one capacity or the other. so still finding it within myself to try n be thoughtful of them, when they had no problem being inconsiderate towards me n my feelings (in-spite of both knowing of my past, how i suffered) really don't think either guy deserved Satsuki or her kind words, magnanimous behavior at the end. would make my point, shame both n walk off without a backward glace. she a much better person then me ( ˘︹˘ ) hate aint that bad a thing, sometimes u need it in ur life to help u get over people, let alone know that u deserved better (≧∇≦)ノ *****************************************************************************************************************************************************side note - this was a perfect end idk why we getting one more ep (if it's for the guys, i pass. cause i could care less if they end up together or not). NO, i have No problem with anyone from the lgbtq+ community, or even understanding that being gay isn't easy. BUT just cause ur hurting, Doesn't justify making new victims n hurting others¯\(°_o)/¯ so no, i don't care for the guys n their "happily ever after"

as per usually am the odd one out, as i still dislike Riku - immensely! he had amply opportunities to be truthful with Satsuki's father, even with Satsuki. but he just goes with the flow, n if he doesn't have to, he doesn't take a stand. **************************the reason i really can't be understanding isn't cause i don't think his fear isn't justified, what i can't accept is, u see how he is effected by conversations, that his conscience bothers him and yet he choses to keep quite cause that's the self-serving/preserving move. ************************************************************************************************************the confrontation with his father happened cause he knows he wont find another accommodating, submissive, understanding, accepting female like Satsuki. if anyone has shown growth in this ep, it was Satsuki's - she stood up to her future father-in-law, put a stop to the fake marriage, n even didn't let Shiraishi change her mind or browbeat her back into any type of commitment she was unsure off. ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************i don't really get how Morishita Sakuji destroyed Shiraishi life (maybe making him unemployable in any educational institutions in Japan¯\(°_o)/¯ ) idk. but don't get him not explaining himself to Riku, considering he still loves him. not that it really matters, as i care little for Riku's happiness (yeah sorry, i don't). what bothered me more was Shiraishi forcing this fake reality onto Satsuki (Riku might have said he cared for Satsuki, but u don't need to be a genius to see he doesn't love her). so repeating this (fake) fact time n again, not gonna make it true. for sure trying to brainwashing Satsuki into continuing a farce isn't helping anyone in the long run. ***************************************************************************************************************his reason for not wanting to fight for his love is neither her nor there, but he has No right to destroy someone else just for a deluded fake happiness, that will make both people suffer on the long run.

oh what was i expecting, of course Morishita's confession would be halfassed. yeah finally admitting it was a man he couldn't get over, was important info. but he should've told her, it was Shiraishi he was hung up on. ****************************************same with Satsuki's talk with Shinji, which was a great idea - but her not telling him that Morishita's unforgettable love was male, an important factor that could change his POV. cause with all due respect to her father n Shinji, the situation not close to her messed-up triangle (which she's not even aware of being part off). am 99% sure Morishita isn't over Shiraishi (he might be lying to himself), but there always little hints that he still cares, like him telling Shiraishi that he told Satsuki "...there was a man he couldn't get over..." i.e. telling Satsuki "i can't get over u" - hint, hint the size of elephants... who thinks he's over Satsuki, n ready for anything with Satsuki?!? not me.( ˘︹˘ ) ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************so glad she figured it out. get Shiraishi not only explaining but reassuring her. but him telling her he doesn't want to hurt her, well duh - the only person capable of hurting her is Morishita. n he loves to throw the word "cherish" around, but why does it fall flat?!? IMHO i doubt he loves her, she just very connivant, does what he wants n needs without asking for anything in return. that mean love? idk ¯\(°_o)/¯(ノω<。)ノ*************************************************************************************Satsuki is too understanding n apologetic when she shouldn't be - she has a right to know the whole truth. she's too trusting, a pushover that's easily getting played by Morishita {{{(>_<)}}} ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************yeah still don't trust Morishita, don't trust his motives or words about anything - can't wait for this whole thing to blow up in Satsuki face - this feels like it's gonna be bad (⊙_⊙;)

why'd it have to end there ugh{{{(>_<)}}} finally we were gonna get some much needed truth, and it had to stop (ノω<。)ノ so hope that the next ep isn't him saying some random crap ( ˘︹˘ ) i so need him to tell Satsuki the truth, not only about his past, but that he NOW, still has feelings for Shiraishi. *************************************************************************************he might not have the guts to admit this to himself, his sister or even to Shiraishi but we all know he still loves Shiraishi, as we know he doesn't love Satsuki ¯\(°_o)/¯ ************************************************************************************************so with all due respect to safeguarding people from the truth, so they don't get hurt, bottom line - he's doing it More to safeguard himself and i aint saying he isn't justified - but when ur lies r hurting an innocent, that is blindly trusting n following u, believing ur heart is all in - the least u owe that person is the truth, at least they will be forewarned. cause lets face facts, in Satsuki case, she the type to sacrifice herself/her- heart so long as the person she loves is happy (we keep getting her saying this time n again, doubt that just lip service). *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************still dislike Morishita, doubt that's ever gonna change. it's not cause he's scared ,hiding, in-denial etc... it's cause he's lying - he sees how his lies r effecting people, and u can see that his conscience is bothering him. but he wont stop and reevaluate the situation (guess he is waiting for the job to pay so he can reimburse his father n then put a stop). but until then how many more will he hurt?!?

Morishita's clueless act, is grating. as if he didn't know what he was doing going to confide in Satsuki. u need to be deaf n dumb not to get her personality, just spend a sec in her presence to get she a pushover. yeah his acting clueless made it seem like it was all her idea, so if/when this blows-up in her face - she will happily take all the blame. *****************************************n lets face facts, his father offered him another out - to sack Shiraishi. but nooo "...he's too important to the project..." my foot ( ˘︹˘ ). same with him confiding in Shiraishi that he's dating Satsuki. like plz he so wanted to see Shiraishi react, maybe even hoped for him to want him back, show jealously, anything but be indifferent. really, Really dislike Morishita ╰(艹皿艹 ) n seeing Satsuki so happy adding to my dislike ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Ayaka hasn't done much, but don't trust her. she was impressed by Go's job n status from the sec she saw him. her telling him he's was Satsuki disliked not their hometown was b.s as Satsuki doesn't like that place either - she finds the whole package claustrophobic ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ n given Go's tendency to force himself on Satsuki - Ayaka's more then welcome to him **********************************************************************************************************************************************************Saori is another problematic biatch, her mean-girl act is annoying n what i find interesting that she's the one to catch Morishita n Shiraishi kissing. so she outted them causing one to lose his job n the other to get estranged from his father. now she's targeting Satsuki - why? she thinks if Morishita all alone, he'll look in her direction?!? don't get bitter people like her

would've been hating hard on Shiraishi if he'd done what he did to Morishita, to someone else. but Don't like Morishita one bit, so could care less that the person he loves is cold n indifferent towards what they shared. especially seeing how Morishita keeps playing Satsuki, hard not to enjoy his heartache/distress. ********************************************************************and no one can tell me that Satsuki coming up with that offer (proposal) wasn't motivated out of love /concern n the need to help Morishita (her bf)at all costs. she cares for him enough to deluded herself into thinking that a fake marriage, means she's wont get hurt. she also thinks he's genuinely dating her - and admit maybe he might have been developing something... but everything got "deleted" the sec he saw Shiraishi. **********************************************************************************that's why i actively dislike him. cause after seeing Shiraishi why did he affirm her question, about them dating? he had more then ample chances to bow-out, without hurting her to the depth she gonna get hurt the more this carries on. n now we got this fake marriage where the parents r gonna get involved (⓿_⓿) what a mess ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************also don't get Araki Go - the relationship between him n Satsuki, but her always evading a confrontation, let alone Not putting people in their place makes people think they can strong arm her into whatever... (like we saw(* ̄︿ ̄) ) oh this frustrating to watch - i really hope she starts standing up for herself

another ep leaving me with conflicted feelings. but one things clear, really don't like Riku. he might be well intentioned (how he shoved his nose between Satsuki n her mother) but that was counterproductive, as Satsuki needs to learn to stand-up for herself! *******************************************************************************************************************************n after hearing her talk about her father n their shared memories - the look on his face, told u he knows exactly what she was talking about (from 1st experience). then WHY feed her feelings for him? wasn't sure until the scene in the bar - but the dude NOT Bi, he's gay! then what the hell is he doing with Satsuki ?!? an ego massage?!? filling time, until the right guys comes back into his life?!? what?!? ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************there were moments that i disliked the overbearing mother, but hard to hate her when u see things from her POV. she should've moved on with her life (maybe living in such a small place it's hard to find new companionship), but putting all her hopes n prayers on her daughter isn't a life - let alone Not fair on Satsuki. leave how meek it has made her (she prone to fall for any user around) she might lose her daughter, cause the emotional manipulation isn't gonna work in the long run, and then what¯\(°_o)/¯ suffer alone?!? **********************************************************************************************************btw i might not have liked her destroying Satsuki's childhood album, but she's not wrong in assuming her husband lied. but also don't think it's black n white, just cause he's gay doesn't mean he didn't hold either dear, n sure he loved n cared for them both.****************************************************************************************************************************************side note - what's the deal with Satsuki ex-bf always pouncing on her?!? those short clips leave me wondering did he try to kiss or assault her?!?need more info

1st off didn't recognize Hana from the poster, seen her in Koi Desu: Yankee-kun to Hakujou Garu an adorable drama. so know she's good. but this plot/ep got me confused/conflicted as how to feel about the character's involved. *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: idk why but was sure Morishita Riku would be played by Moriyama Mirai. n the description off cause "...After a terrarium that she made captured his attention, Satsuki ends up helping out with a garden project he has undertaken.." one would assume Riku offer's Satsuki a job, not that she asks it. but that wasn't the main gripe i had with this ep - ******************1. being a child of divorce, is hard enough. but when ur father cheated n left ur mother & u, u feel doubly loyal to ur mother (who is still single n reliant on u) the fact he left for a man isn't here nor there (maybe it is a factor for the mother/wife). but as a child it doesn't matter. Satsuki would have a tough time being civil towards the new partner, regardless of their gender. ********but my main problem is the 'ship' between Riku n Satsuki (2.) i don't get why this a running theme in J-drama's where one character is down right rude, intrusive, overbearing n instead of taking offense, this being an unappealing, repellent characteristic to the potential partner it's the opposite ¯\(°_o)/¯ i could over look his insulting her for her shoddy work in his garden. but his forcing her to face her father n his partner wasn't done. Yes agree it was much needed n see Shinji breakdown n cry cause of how he felt accepted was really heartwarming moment and yet i couldn't get over Riku (a stranger) manhandling that situation n her like that. i wouldn't be over the moon, stars sparkling in my eye's - giddy at the end of that dinner - oh well, then guess no drama (︶^︶)**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************anyway from what i assume (from the poster/description n preview) have a feeling Yuma is/was Riku's lover. find it ironic that Satsuki gonna find herself in the same situation her mother was

at this late stage idk why was hoping that some common sense be applied by any of the character's - instead of talking n clearing things, each moron hell bent on putting distance n walls between them n the one they supposedly love. n for the life of me i can't get Kim turning to Danil for help. why trust a person that has out n out threatened the lives of ur people, just to get to u?!? called Kim a baby, but even babies got more sense then this imbecile (ノω<。)ノ**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************n Lop dear (really ur the saving grace of this BL for me) BUT the sec u see Kim throwing a tantrum, u call / text Kamol the first chance u get¯\(°_o)/¯ this headache is too much to handle alone. and u for sure don't take orders from Danil {{{(>_<)}}}but didn't accept Danil to help Kim, after Danai's men kidnapped himヾ(≧▽≦*)o seriously this plot is all over the place - like Kamol talking about 'going straight' but killing n maiming people left n right, as if the sec he's out of the game, the law doesn't count what he did before, n he can walk away scot-free(ノω<。) oh well at least this BL has given me a laugh (at all the wrong things that weren't supposed to be funny - but something better then nothing(≧∇≦)ノ ). this was fun cause of character's like Lop, Danai n Danil, the rest were rather bland n meeh - *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************btw it's good n all Kim took Kamol to meet the folks, BUT why the frack he take that annoying overgrown man-child Baiboon?!? just to forced feed us more of that none-ship between him n Khom ( ˘︹˘ ) ironic cause as this has progressed i've really grown to loath this man-baby, that can't walk without falling over. his smiling n fawning over a grown adult, just makes me cringe - so could do without seeing his face in the last ep... oh this was bad n it went from bad to boring,- the entertaining bits had nothing to do with all the work put into this - sad but thankfully succeeded in finishing and can put this past me

1 ep from the end n this still confounds me, Kim can't help but act the spoilt brat where Kamol n his bodyguard's r concerned, but anyone else (Cherry n now Danil) he all meek n subservient - why?!? Danil openly insulting n he's stopping Kamol from tossing him out, why?!? heck he openly threatening him and his loved ones, and Kim decides to keep it from Kamol - really?!? cause he knows Danil so well? or cause the loss of either his parents or the girls (that work for him) is nothing as long as he got Kamol ¯\(°_o)/¯ guess both Kim n Kamol masochists... little wonder their "game play" is figurative at the most (︶^︶)n given the way Kim keeps asking Kamol about work related stuff (that's obvious even if ur not in the same line of work) makes me wonder, have Kim's parents just set up that company to indulge him, guess Metawee the real brain's managing that place... kinda makes sense when u think about it (*≧︶≦) ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************n know am supposed to hate Danil, but the dude spicing up this rather lackluster BL (adding some kissing scenes or weird 3somes is like beating a dead horse) they don't do anything to revive this dying plot.side note: can Kamol emote?!? dude as frozen facially as that helmet on his head - LOLed literally when Kim was "drying his hair" there was so much hairspray in it, it wouldn't moveヾ(≧▽≦*)o *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************guess cause this the ep before the end, we get the unnecessary drama before the big make-up ( ˘︹˘ ) leave the fact Kamol been telling Kim his past doesn't matter n stopping him from talking at every turn. now that he heard instead of going to Kim, he's asking Khom to gather info ugh(ノω<。)ノ btw from what i recall Day has always been Kim's bff, he never felt more for Kim and that's why Kim was heart broken (they were never together) now we changing the plot, just for this melodramatic moment?!? ****************************************************************************************************************************n the Cherry on top (⊙_⊙;) (yup bad joke) same as her disguise (⓿_⓿) like what - why - oh whatever one more to go...

so why Kim still calling Kamol, Mister?!? could understand it at the start of their 'ship', as he didn't know what Kamol was up-too, n neither did he know what he wanted (heck he was so hung-up on Day he couldn't see straight). so get distancing himself by using honorific's. but after everything they've done n been through, isn't it time to drop the act?!? or is this a kink n equivalent to "master" ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ like i get this supposed to be BDSM themed - we get the redundant warning at the start of every ep - it usually amounts to much ado about nothing - cause handcuff's n chains aint the long and short of it ( ˘︹˘ ) even verbally they keep selling it hard ヾ(≧▽≦*)o ***********************************************************************************************but this one thing this BL's good at ("good" sarcastically) they good at talking big, and usually hearing character's (especially the mains) dialogue, leaves me wondering how medicated the writer's/ heck everyone in production were, to come up with some of the crap being spouted by these character's ¯\(°_o)/¯(ノω<。)ノ*****************************************************************mentioning crap, Kim going around acting like Kamol's crew is family and not paid staff is bewildering, he has no problem dumping his work on his subordinate's, not caring if they're working too hard or haven't had time to take a break - why the act with Kamol's crew?!? they matter more, cause he can put on an act in front of Kamol (show him was a good housewife he can be?!?), while Kamol won't care about Kim's people, right?!? ~(>_<。)\*****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************another one doing my head in, Baiboon - this dude/child tripping over his clown feet is getting tedious, finding reasons to latch onto Khom, making doe eyes at him - kinda nauseating to watch. but there was a bright spot when he befriended some random dude n was sending him pic's of the group's vaca... now if Baiboon turned out to be a bad-guy working for either of the Dan's would for sure make him much more interesting, then he currently is {{{(>_<)}}} *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************btw read about the bodyguard 3some, so wasn't surprised - what did throw me off balance, the goofy, funny, innocent Lop being the meat in that bodyguard sandwich Ψ( ̄∀ ̄)Ψ color me shocked (≧∇≦)ノ

promised myself wouldn't zone out in this epヾ(≧▽≦*)o an glad, cause we got a new "bad-guy" Danil - not a sec around an already livening up this bore of an ep. n all well n good Kamol wants to fulfill the big-babies request. but he a freakin adult, that has been in this business how long? he knows it wont be that easy to leave. ignoring, if his boss will let him out or not, he has acquired a multitude of enemies (given his line of work), anyone think they wouldn't try n get even, especially when he cuts ties with this "world"?!? when he wont have any backing?!? ****************************************************************************also know Kamol is supposed to be the sadistic Dom (●ˇ∀ˇ●) who's finally found his perfect masochistic submissive. but given how Kim got Kamol wrapped around his finger, am pretty sure Kim is the one with the upper hand, n Kamol the real sub here cause lets face it, Danil doesn't come off as a Sub and the way he was treating Kamol, we all got who's the top in that 'ship' ****************************************************************************************************************************************n have to say getting frustrating watching Baiboon - how old is this moron?!? 12? 18? cause going by the way he acts, let alone how Kim treats him, he might as well be 8(ノω<。)ノmentioning Kim, dude finally went to work ~(>_<。)****************************************************************************************************************************************Cherry {{{(>_<)}}} i seriously don't get anyone being this kind, towards someone that treats u like garbage. n yeah appreciate Kamol making things clear between them - and yet he wasn't kind with his choice of words, n Still Cherry going on about him being a good person n a good friend, and i'm like( ˘︹˘ ) he is? when was he kind towards u? he been treating u like a pesky fly shooing u away at every turn, or out n out ignoring u.. oh i give up with this female ¯\(°_o)/¯ n the preview is the punishment for not using her head n blindly following her heart (⊙_⊙;) this just sad.

remembered that Danai is another character i immensely enjoyed in this, another one that adds so much in-spite of the miniscule scenes he's in. that's saying something considering the majority of this bleeh... *****************************************but admit, really wasn't paying attention in this ep, just halfassing it(^∀^●)so will complete this BL (ノω<。)ノmaybe cause of this, didn't find this ep annoying. wont say i didn't notice the stoopid stuff but it wasn't jaring - ****************************************************************************************************************************************the questions that popped-up; why Cherry still hanging around Kamol?!? the fact he remembers she exists, ONLY when he needs info about Danai, and then ignores her like she's nothing. not an indicator she should STOP helping him, n cut all contact? let along move on with her life?!? find someone who appreciates her?? ************************************************************n how old is Baiboon, the way Kim treats him he might as well be Salmon's age ¯\(°_o)/¯ the way he is talked about generally, seems a teen... oh idk what's what. but his getting jealous that Khom was talking to Cherry ( ˘︹˘ ) making something out of nothing, cause we gotta further that idiotic romance? plz *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************n i seriously don't get Day, Itt, Salmon plotline - why?!? leave Itt acting like a all understanding saint, that's suddenly closer to Kim then Day, but the kid already so attached to Kim, like WTH is going on - was the writer on something?!? >﹏<
