i get that Seok Ju Ran doesn't have another out but to trust the man she calls father as he was the one that gave her, her hearing back & the after 20yrs came to save her again. the fact he is just using her is neither here nor there given the life she has lived & how society has treated her. but she can see what is being done & worse who Eun Chae Ni's heart is gonna get transplanted into. yet she still trusts Ha Un Do?!? weird & ironic what with the cult they r running & the 3 kinds that Ha Un Do has under his thumb r brainwashed into blindly following him regardless of how shady & sketch the dude & his actions r. he not trustworthy & they gonna find this out the hard way. then it might be too late, maybe it already is. *******************************but the start of the ep kinda blindside me, the whole revelation of the real eternal child & the ending he met. cause of his powers his body wouldn't die but given the condition of his brain he wasn't alive - tragic & heart breaking given the suffering he was put through in his short life. & then his heart got transplanted to Eun Chae Ni, who instead of inheriting his power somehow went from bad to worse as time went by - still wondering why...

i was genuinely waiting for the moment Lee Un Jeong would change into Seok Ho Ran, but guess Lee Un Jeong really reason for coming back wasn't to search for & find the eternal child cause of any sentimental reason - he was planning on selling him to the mad scientist for his own freedom. given his childhood & how he survived since then i get this POV & yet given how Eun Chae Ni blindly trusted him - it hurts. ugh that ending took the wind out of my sails.

i knew that Ha Un Do was a bad maybe mad man but getting to see the depravity & evil in action really shows me that man made judgment isn't enough for some people - what he did to those children, let alone poor Eun Chae Ni, just wasting away in prison isn't enough. dude needs to get ripped to shreds on the daily. idk how Mrs. Kim could withstand the mental manipulation when she is an average woman, guess that went to show how much she wanted to say Eun Chae Ni - who she considers her grandchild. even though i am still wondering how did a wonder kid go from being able to resect themselves to being so sickly every major organ was failing in their body. hope we get answers - but at least Lee Un Jeong finally has come face to face with the kid that cared for him in that orphanage, the one he in-turn saved. ******************************************maybe this is what he needs to finally not just accept the group but tell them who their real enemy is & who they should look out for. cause him not warning them of that "church" - didn't get that, locking them up in that room didn't mean they would be safe - he can't keep them in there forever. *******************************************************************************************also IMO Mrs. Kim is as bad as the mad scientist, as she knew what was being done to those kids, she funded those experiment's & when everything blew-up she then suddenly found a conscience? her saving some of those kids & helping them doesn't make up for the suffering & deaths of so many nameless others - sorry.

this is hilarious, idk how hard i laughed at the trio's antic's - they so freakin funny & no matter how much i liked Eun Chae Ni at the start, she is freakin funny, adorable, sweet all rolled up in one.... she's totally my MVP in this & if she is really the eternity child the mad scientist is searching for, then how did she get so sick?!? cause if she is the child Lee Un Jeong remembers, then she couldn't die, cause she would heal no matter what. so how she go from that to how she became at the start of the series?!? was it Madam Kim's doing?!? was that why she reached out to Choi Yeong Jun, the sec Eun Chae Ni miraculously healed?!?? was she the one that made Eun Chae Ni sick in the 1st place, hoping she could lead a normal life?!?

The Legend of Kitchen Soldier Episode 3

that Ji Yong f*cker is getting on my last nerve - hate bullies & he from day one, has been giving bully vibes. the irony is that Mun Ik who is kind of a pushover, becomes mean to those who r lower then him - i.e Kang Seong Jae. thank god for Yun Dong Hyeon, he might be a bit of a weirdo & scary even, but he is the perfect person to put any bully in his place & the fact he is gonna get discharged soon, doesn't bode well for all the weaker lower ranking guys in that base. cause then Ji Yong the f*cker becomes stop dog. even though given the preview, i guess Kang Seong Jae gonna get moved - or the higher-ups r gonna want to move him to their base, so he can cook for them. can't wait for the next ep - as am really enjoying this. it's fun & funny & yet not really a comedy.

that ending has brought up so many questions. if Eun Chae Ni's grandmother was involved with the experiments on the orphan kids - who was she? was Eun Chae Ni also an orphan, she just took pity on cause of her heart condition?!? if Eun Chae Ni was an orphan, why wasn't she experimented on? wouldn't they want to check if "whatever" was injected into a sick child, how it would evolve? not even a scientist but think that's how scientist would think. ***************************************************** & if Eun Chae Ni is her grandmothers biological granddaughter maybe it was punishment for what she had a hand in happen to all those kids. other then that a fun ep perusal - i really love v quirky personality - she is so much fun. ****************************also like both of her side kicks, but have to say Gyeong Un's family is taking the fun out of this. they treat him like garbage & he just takes it. he doesn't need to be mean back to demanded respect from his wife or daughter. but he needs to standup for himself.

what a chaotic 1st ep &fun too - nice intro to all the main character's. Park Eun Bin is really talented so her every character is unique, v no different. Cha Eun Woo's visuals r very distracting lol - very very good looking... can't wait for more of the chaos

My Grandpa Is a BL Writer Episode 1
0 people found this review helpful
was expecting this to be cute & lighthearted, but this was depressing - when u really think about everything, this sad. it's great the grandfather wants to write a BL - but who says it will be a hit? & make enough money to save the orphanage, pay back the loans with interest?!? the debt is freakin over 12 million(!) & he needs not only to make enough to cover the debt, but enough to make sure he can run that place & not end up back in debt. i doubt even best sellers can make that much money, from just one book & sorry, but the only book he wrote was a flop. so who said the genre was the problem? maybe he isn't that good of a writer. just a thought - *****************************************************************************************************maybe this was supposed to be a light romcom, but watching the children & adults - it just depressed me how many lives will be destroyed if this venture fails. *******************************************************************************************************not to mention dating someone just to give insight to his grandfather isn't fair to the guy that confessed to him - maybe i am over thinking this but it is what it is... hope the next eps wont be such a downer, but have a feeling it will be. lets hope they not to depressing or i might drop this before i reach the end - **************************************************************************side note: that whistle got on my nerve's pretty fast - i would've gotten rid of it, the 1st chance i got.

i really hate when character's communicate but only convey half of the info, it's worse then not communicating - like what is the point?!? if u decided to talk, then put all ur cards on the table, ask & say everything - leave no stones unturned - not these 2. i get Pei is surprised that the person he loves & worries about, has suddenly grown suspicious enough to investigate him. but can u blame Yin Qi??? even if Pei doesn't know the reason, he was gaslighting Yin Qi & deflecting from himself. he keeps going on about safeguarding Yin Qi - but is Yin Zhou trustworthy? will he keep his word? no, so i don't get why he keeps going on & on about Yin Qi laying low & letting him keep colluding with Yin Zhou . he thinks he is smarter then Yin Qi, ironically he is stupider. at least the past Yin Qi was innocent & not interested in the palace intrigues. he just wanted to live a quite life writing poetry & hanging with his bff & sister. so him being naïve u can't fault - but Pei acting this way is moronic. *********************************also i don't get how or why that father (the moronic king) sent Yin Qi to the border in the past & would even take up that type of offer. the dude has fainted in almost every ep - yet he is the one that would/should be sent to the border? he should send that degenerate Yin Zhou. cause even without Yin Qi's men informing him & us that the King knows exactly what Yin Zhou get's up too.... we know that that King knows everything that is going on under his roof - he knows who his sons r & for him their infighting is building character or some such crap. especially when the outcome is Yin Zhou has succeeded in getting rid of 2 of his sons (that we know off). but maybe to him that shows that Yin Zhou is worthier to inherit the throne - donno. *******either way i wish the mains communicated & i also need Yin Qi to not trust his men blindly, Yin Zhou's buttboy is getting on my last nerve. he is smart otherwise he wouldn't survive under Yin Zhou, but i need Yin Qi to catch on ASAP. pity before he died he didn't see more of who was untrustworthy in the past ugh

Pei doesn't seem stupid to me & he has lived almost all of his life as a hostage in that palace, so he knows the personality of everyone. yet he thinks making deals with the devil r worth the paper they r written on? he really believes someone like Yin Zhou will keep his word & not hurt Yin Qi? like he didn't get rid of the other princes that were in line before Yin Qi?!? why is he deluding himself??? like i said he isn't stupid so i don't get the logic behind his going to Yin Zhou & making any kind of deal. so am happy that by the end Yin Qi did just hear what Pei was doing for him, but he confronted him - now they can stop going behind each others back & work together to take down the sociopath. also i really need Yin Qi to realize Zi Ming in the real rat in his household - idk why he is d*ck-whipped for the crazy prince (well i could guess) but him plotting against those that r good to him is making me see red. *********************************************************************************************************Yin Qi's sister is really sweet, so i hope nothing happens to her by the end -

idk if this low budget or what but Chinese periodical dramas cinematography is usually banging & they for sure, put a lot of effort in the costumes - impressive to say the least. the acting is good & the plot interesting, 50 min flew by & sadly i think this whole BL is gonna follow the same track - well i hope it's good from start to finish & then the only down side will be that it was too short. would hope we get a happy ending, but idk have a feeling it's gonna go the tragic route - also a favorite cliché for the periodical C-drama endings - but one can hope that this wont be too depressing. **************************************************anyway even though there aren't that many character's, was a bit confused - r all the guys the King's sons (from different mother's)?!? & if that was the case, get why the psycho Yin Zhou wants to get rid of everyone & clear his path to the throne. that's a life of a royal in that time period - so nothing surprising there. but as he is gay, is he interested in Pei cause he is attracted to him or cause he wants to use him to get at Yin Qi (cause they close from childhood). he already has a man in Yin Qi's household, Zi Ming - am sure he was the one who killed both Pei & Yin Qi at the start. so why would he need Pei too?!? ********************************************************************************************************************************************btw given the description, was sure Yin Qi would be the one to die last, as he is the one that transported three years in the past & him dying after Pei, means he would realize that Pei didn't betray him & that he loves him. guess will have to wait & see how he realizes his feelings for Pei - given now he thinks he is a traitor & not to be trusted.

what an emotional roller costar, poor Xiao Chen (& even though Lu Feng is & has suffered like Xiao Chen), idk my heart goes out to Xiao Chen more - maybe cause he doesn't vent, just suffers in silence... either way from the start of the ep i wanted them to communicate, before anything. but that isn't the route Lu Feng chose - guess he just wanted to pick up where they stopped & ignore all the bad sh*t that kept them apart for 4 yrs. but u can't just move on as if nothing happened, they needed a candid conversation where they didn't just talk about what happened, but how they felt as a consequence of it all. they needed to share how they dealt with the aftermath - what they went through. maybe then after opening old wounds & cleaning out the puss, then the true healing could start, then they would realize that they both loved wholeheartedly & still do. that their love isn't a thing of the past. but sadly that isn't how this is gonna go - which just means more suffering for the mains - *******************************************************************************************************************************************************i would applauded the younger brother for standing up for Xiao Chen & getting in Lu Feng's face - but he has a big part in his brother's pain. he just wont admit to it, so it was convenient that Lu Feng came, he could channel his anger at someone other then himself. **************************************************************************************************************************after everything Xiao Chen has been through, i don't blame him for taking time to consider giving Lu Feng a 2nd chance & at the 1st hint of disloyalty, bailing - he hasn't stopped suffering or loving Lu Feng. so starting a new, just to get destroyed again who would want to chance that. *****************************************************************************************************so get his not wanting to give Lu Feng a chance, even after he finally found out that Lu Feng didn't abandon him, that he too suffered abroad. btw Lu Feng graping Xiao Chen didn't help matters any. **********************************************************on that note, dude really has a problem with understanding that force isn't love - this isn't the 1st scene/time where he forces himself on Xiao Chen & then is shocked that Xiao Chen's reaction to getting assaulted is aversion & the need to flee - if u watch Lu Feng's face & notice his behavior, he thinks that's how u make love. genuinely don't get how his mind works - but i also read that a person who cannot understand that force isn't love may be exhibiting controlling or possessive behaviors stemming from deep-seated insecurity, fear of abandonment, or a lack of emotional maturity & given that father of his (the lack of a mother figure) it explains a lot. complex sh*t - still not ok & dude needs therapy. but explains a lot.

Absolute Value of Romance Episode 11

bummer we didn't get another chapter of Eui Ju's musing, so not that funny of an ep but so endearing, that she went in search of Ji-a at least someone cares for that kid - she way better then Eui Ju's stuck-up bff. i seriously don't care for her & if Eui Ju is the one to come ass-kissing i for one am gonna riot - she doesn't deserve Eui Ju as a friend IMO. not when she's gonna toss her aside for a man - a man that doesn't even know of her existence. like r u serious?!? freakin pisses me off the more i think about it. *************************************************************************************************************************************Ga U Su is another good human, wish all teachers were like him - even though when confronted with the loan sharks he should've called the cops not transferred the money. they not trust worthy - why get involved in the 1st place?!? or after giving them the money go to the cops & file a complaint - i for sure would've been asking Ji-a why she took a loan in the 1st place - something was hella shady. so i aint shocked the ep ended the way it did. but love how Eui Ju didn't think twice & ddn't just reach out to Ga U Su, but then went to his friends. all really good people - still wondering why not contact the cops as they pretty much kidnapped Ji-a. but it is what it is

everyone swooning over the NC scene & i guess it's about time Phop reap some rewards, after everything Khun keeps putting him through. but must say i just about had enough with Khun's thoughtlessness - dude is like a headless chicken. i was happy when he finally decided to confide in Phop, asking for his help. but he still somehow ends up making a mess of things. & i have to say that constant smile is taking me out - it's like a child in his 1st play enjoying himself too much he forgets he needs to focus/stay in character - he smiles all the time & it doesn't fit the mood that is being set by the scene. couldn't the director make him stop?!?? get this is his 1st role (as a lead) but he has acted before - no guidance? guess just me noticing & finding this freakin annoying. *********************************************************************************************************************anyway moron should be smarter, but he isn't - so idk why i keep expecting him to be... but anyone with eyes can see that Prim is lying - the big question, why. is she the master mind & Cherd her subordinate? that's the vibe i get - for sure i know she is playing the victim & for someone that comes from the future, Khun should be more suspicious of everyone. not to mention her acting isn't that convincing. **********************************************************************************************************also Phop is deluding himself if he thinks his mother loves him so much, she will accept Khun as her daughter-in-law, wont be shocked if both his parents kick Khun out after beating him within an inch of his life. given the time period & their statue, i don't see a different/better outcome for them. but when ur in-love u can't think. Jom might be heartless for how he is treating Kaew, but he is smarter & his way will keep them both alive & not get them kicked out of their respective families.
