It was actually during the ending scenes in Episode 1. where she trades place with the lady giving him a massage. Specifically when she says: 下次可就是脑袋了 and then he says 我一点都不带耽误. Their accents are not accents that I usually hear in period dramas. So, I was wondering if it was just my ears. :)
Is there anyone who is following this drama that understands Chinese or is native Chinese speaker? I have a question about Accents in Episode 1. Thanks in Advance!

This is off topic, but are you following the drama Peachey? I had a question about the end of Episode 1 where their 'Chinese' seemed to have an odd accent to it. Am I wrong??
If it was a remake, MyDrama List usually notes it and links them in the details. On A Gentlemans Dignity, it says that Secret Society of Men was the C-Ver Remake. But I never watched the KDrama, so I cannot say about the supposed similar details. So... 🤔
Gentleman's Dignity C-ver? Almost the same with GD
C-ver was supposedly Secret Society of Men... something like that. Never watched GD, but some similar on synopsis, I guess... editor/pe teacher versus architect/strict teacher...
I've completed the 8 episodes released so far and I find myself liking the drama even more than I expected. I…
I just wanted to add my 2-cents... I really like this drama as well. I am usually a strict Historical C Drama type. I like the pace and that there do not seem to be any cut parts, and it flows. I don't have to ask, what happened or where did this come from, lol. Even with 40 episodes, I am dedicated, as long as it stays consistent like this. I wish there was a novel to go with it. :D
The fact is FL still loves SML more than ML. I hope she comes out of her delulu world and accept the reality.…
Which is why he wants her completely over the unrequited love she has for Jiacheng. And maybe she is not so much delusional as to being still confused on what her feelings really are. A crush is NOT the same feelings as love and she will have to realize that on her own. Not having parents from age 5, maybe she lacked because she did not have an example of love between woman and man? All in due time, though. She will get it. :)
its crazy becuase he has marriage in mind but she assumes otherwise becuae of rumors she heard.
In her defense, in her industry rumors were law and always made a difference in 'image'. But yeah, she should be more straight forward, just like she is quick to defend herself at times.
I originally want to sub that title before, but someone already subbed it for 4 episodes on YT. However, they…
No rush. I have translated online books from Chinese to English, so I know it takes a lot of effort. Then, you have to get the timing lined up. Also, their subtitles look nice visually, but do not make sense on a lot of parts. So, if you could add it to your list for the future, that would be great. Thanks again.
Hi SoonSetra! Any chance this title can be a work in progress to translate? Or is there anywhere that has subtitles in English already? The Slave to Love ( 见卿卿 ) Thanks!
