Yes its like when wu wangyan wakes up her friend asks her "did you have a nightmare" she says "no it was a dream a sweet dream, I almost didnβt want to wake up" This is what she says so practically she did forget everything but saw it in a dream. Then wu shiguang came to her with the bracelet he made for her and she asked "how do you have my hair" and he said its a long story. So they do get together. So wushiguang is the only one who remembers the original timeline. As for ji ling and lu wuyi, ji ling goes into the past from the star stone and kills jiu ying, stops lu wuyi's birth and takes her to another world where they are normal humans. They meet again as normal humans. I know I spoiled everything but it is what it is. It is sort of happy ending.
