Well it is a slow burn it all started when she was i think back in being ugly era she was still bullied around everything and she liked zhuang yu but it was a misunderstanding when he stood her up and she thought he disliked that she was ugly. So she approached zhuang yu for revenge but this misunderstanding was cleared later up. Then in episode 12 they grew to each other slowly. Then zhuang yu went out of country and was when their speration happened. Yu meiren was very sad but zhuang yu came back in episode of 20 or 23 and they got together. They have a cute romance. It is happy ending and there are no love triangles. It is a good slow burn drama. And the kissing scenes are good too. You should give it a chance it is a cute and good drama
