They did grew up together but there is a twist. When jin zhao was taken in he 4-5 years old and jiang mu wasn’t born at that time. So jin zhao always knew that he was adopted. They only grew up together till jin zhao was 14 and jiang mu 10. Jin zhao moved with jiang mu's father to thailand because jiang mu's parents got separated. After almost 10 years they both reunited in thailand. Yes I know that feeling I will also get irritated because i know that they are siblings but they are not. Jin zhao is adopted, he never treated her as a sister because he knew since he came to their house that he was adopted. So you don’t have to be worried about that part. And after all their parents also gave consent to their relationship so it means that its fine because he was not her brother by blood. I hope you watch because its really worth it. Their storyline is very good and emotional. After many separations they still find their way back to each other. I personally loved it. Both leads acting is also amazing and they both act according to their character in the novel and as per directors instructions. Please watch its worth it.
