Maoyan is not the general basis to know if the drama is performing well or not. Dramas that are not S or S+ normally can get high data on Maoyuan. If you want to know how OG did, then Yunhe and Kuyun as the user suggested above is what you should be looking at + youku heat index. OG isn't a flop that is true but since it is considered as an S+ drama it just didn't perform well in a way an S+ drama data should, it's decent level.

TBT will heal you, it is a really good romance drama

TBT production team is the best, I thought OG will be able to overtake its place in my heart but turns out TBT is his best drama of the year 💖🌸 the directors to scriptwriters and even marketing team of TBT drama did so much better.

Let's also add an english film for him, I love his english accent too. I think this is because he has a really nice voice so any language he speaks is pleasing to hear 😉💞 true 💯

He only did because the drama is ending today and it's a norm for them to say goodbye to their characters when their drama finishes airing.

It is only 24 episodes, the 40 episodes are from melon accounts. Although in those 24 episodes they still didn't include many of the scenes he filmed for 4 months.

but it is still an S+ drama that underperformed, the production messed up big time.

OG is adapted from a famous chinese novel. Alot anticipated this drama and expected it to be a hit. It even got to S+ level and such ranking for dramas tells you its potential. Whereas, the latter was never at S+ level so with that said it underperformed but difference is that it had expectations to do better given the production company is popular too.
