What I’ll remember most is how cohesive the whole narrative felt. The writing wasn’t only about romance, but also about emotional timing, tension, restraint, and release. Every scene felt intentional one. The romance also not the loud exaggerated type, it slowly simmered and built up until suddenly everything hit all at once. Combined with the beautiful cinematography, detailed set design, and rich visual tones… the whole drama felt almost cinematic at times. It really knew how to create mood and atmosphere without needing too much dialogue.

And I really must mention Byeon Wooseok. This drama didn’t just showcase him! 🥹 it made me become a genuine fan of his acting. The emotional control, vulnerability, and intensity he brought to the role were seriously magnetic. You can really feel how much thought he put into his performance. I started this drama as a casual viewer and ended it looking forward to all his future works already.

Yes, the controversy surrounding this drama did cast a shadow, which is honestly quite sad. But despite all that, I still believe the success and praise this drama received were fully deserved because the cast and production team truly delivered something heartfelt and well-crafted. I just hope eventually the noise dies down and people let the drama live peacefully for what it achieved instead of constantly overshadowing it with negativity. Goodbye, Perfect Crown.... wah what a journey this drama has been 🥹♥️🪭

I hope he ventures into action or thriller genre dramas apart from romcom. Yes. Which is why I was surprised, didn't know he was this good. I'm late to discover him, thanks to this drama. Those episodes were my turning point and made me realize he was really good. His crying scenes are better than most actors these days.

I noticed when I checked their acc they created it just this April and have no watchlist but I did get a gist they came from the other fandom because my comment sort of mentioned that drama. I replied one time and they sent me multiple long replies and also noticed they were going literally under everyone's comments. Whoever that person is, must have multiple acss 😂 that person needs to touch some grass 🤣

Happened to me too. I didn't expect it, his ep 10 scene when he cried alone was done really well too. Right. His hardwork paid off this time and his effort and dedication is clearly evident.

You must be one of those LR die-hard fans 😆. I won't bother making paragraphs why LR didn't do it for me, that drama was just meh at best. Everything revolved around white truck dude and it's filled with plotholes. Call it ironic but it is what it is. I don't know how long you've been watching kdramas but it seems you are new. Recycled tropes are a natural thing. It's about how properly a drama utilizes and executes them. Which was poorly done in LR btw 👀

Thought I was the only one proven wrong, good to know i'm not. I didn't enjoy lovely runner because of the messy story and some plotholes. He does have serious acting skills, I feel his role here suited him more.

No hate but I was never impressed with bws acting. Watching his acting performance in this drama is like a slap to my self. His acting since ep 8 up to ep 10 in those heightened emotional scenes made me realize his talent. He did a remarkable job. I'm impressed. I might look forward to his future works. I think Perfect Crown is his best project yet.

Totally agree with you. From all the dramas I’ve watched, I still haven’t found a character like him, and ZLH really owned that role so well. That’s why it’s my top fave also...so iconic! Even though the character more red flag than Xie Zheng, I still love both Xie Wei and Xie Zheng. Something about him playing a “Xie” just hits different 😭

I get you! Honestly SOKP is one of those dramas I rewatch every year while waiting for his new ones to air🤭 I don’t really watch many Bailu dramas also, but this one is the one I like the most from her.

Actually, Zhang Linghe did film some battle scenes, and he was even excited about it since it’s his first time playing a marquis/general role. Even we as fans were all expecting to see more of him fighting, but sadly those scenes didn’t make it into the final cut....scriptwriter’s decision.

I still love POJ and really love his role as Marquis Wu’an, but I agree with you on this. If got more episodes maybe we could have seen those scenes. Also POJ is more female-centric, so that could be another reason also.

But Xie Wei really irreplaceable for me....he totally ate that role and left no crumbs 🔥
