As someone who was waiting for this drama since early on and watched all the BTS/reuters, I know how hard the cast worked, especially with the dangerous wire stunts, horse riding, and those heavy costumes. I still remember ZLH almost got injured just trying to mount the horse for a scene. Quite wasted that some unreleased content will never be shown.
I do appreciate the director for bringing out ZLH’s strengths, but the screenwriting really disappointed me. Actually this kind of thing not only happen in POJ, it also happened in some of his previous works. It’s starting to feel like a pattern already.
But at least for me, I’m still happy that POJ and his character are getting a lot of love. So his efforts not totally wasted, and he’s gaining more recognition overseas also. It’s quite a bittersweet feeling, so I’m just trying to manage my expectations for his next drama, Overdo, and hope it will be different this time.

It's all restrictions fault. I miss the old days when we get atleast 60 plus. I wouldn't get bored of POJ. It would've been good too if they opted for season 2 but it's rare to do that now. There was so much more I wanted to see.

I didn't watch the leaks and don't support them. It's funny how they get full cut and we get the cut 😭 now I feel like finding that specific scene in those leaked video but I think the leaks in that one website that uploaded it are gone now

Zhang Linghe acting on this drama was on another level, he improved his acting even more and he carried being a Marquis so well. I can't imagine anyone else playing his role as Marquis. He owned this role like it was made for him ❤️🔥🔥
This is his best look out of all costume drama he did, his hairstyle here and costume suited him so much and director know exactly how to capture his beauty and angles 👏
