I watched this drama religiously as a kid. haha my entire childhood

Xue wu and Lan ling wang has a beautiful relationship... and i love them so much until i saw the changes in Yuwen yong and how he showed his feelings towards Xue wu. Everything he did for her was like a stab to the heart for me :'( I ended up hoping she would like him back and end up with him because let's face it, if your love interest died and you have someone as caring and good looking as Yuwen yong there for you, your heart's gotta be shaken up at least. But she remained thankful but completely distant romantically and I don't think it's very realistic.. I mean okay they're trying to make a point that lan ling wang is her one and only true love but come on :|

I loved how in this drama there's no true villain. You can never truly hate a character in this show because everyone has a back story that makes you pity them. That's one thing I absolutely love about this drama. Also the plot twists! The main character is so real and dynamic. I love how she changes throughout, and how her love interest changes too because of it (unlike other dramas that makes the protagonist stick to one person till the very end...) I'm proud to say I finished this drama in three and a half days!! Yay me for watching till 7AM every night

This drama made me fall in love with Eddie Peng. DAMN he is flawless. I finished the drama in two days & started rewatching it on the third day. Wu ji and Xin yue is the ultimate OTP. I love how they constantly tease one another. There isn't one moment I dislike with those two together :')
