My bad and my apologies. I’m just been consuming a lot of misinformation on the Chinese social media sites so I’m feeling tetchy to see the same stuff here.

Is my post above taken as attacking her? That’s absolutely not my intention. I think information is important, but in this age of massive misinformation, it needs to be as accurate as possible. For example, it is misleading to portray this story as an adaptation and have a misunderstanding of what the stories and characters are. While the production has not released much information, MDL should not put wrong information down right?
Moreover, the MDL page on the show is wrong. This is NOT an adaptation from a novel but an original work by Cao Xiao Tian. The male lead’s name is Lu Xing Zhi, not Sun Ru Yang. Please correct this as I’m sure you would not want to be portraying misleading information on this site.

Poor Chen Xing Xu has already been a victim of a coordinated and concerted smear campaign since Love Between Lines, and the above “news” is also another example of this black marketing. If you truly want to make this news factual, you can add that neutral commentators have chimed in that there was a misunderstanding in what Chen Xing Xu said. The black hot search immediately put his words as “背”告, which means to memorize lines and would thus be interpreted as an insult to Li Yi Tong; but what he actually said was “备”告， which means to prepare a speech in advance. Chen Xing Xu has never been viewed as impolite or unprofessional in his 25 year career. It’s bad enough that he is being hounded on Chinese social media sites, I think that an international site like MDL can do better?
