I was so excited for this show until I saw who the director is! Honestly, New's work never works for me...I don't…
All Thai fans love Aloneww. As you can see, his series wins Best Series in Thailand every year.

My friend works at one of the biggest news agencies in Thailand. They told me that Ping might star in a bl series alongside Bright Rapheephong. It’s an inside scoop that GMMTV is still keeping under wraps. I really hope it’s true!

You think the main couple isn’t compelling enough? It’s only been one episode — that’s a pretty quick…
I’m not “interrogating” you—I responded to your public comment, just like you’re now responding to mine. That’s how discussions work. If someone disagrees with you, it doesn’t mean they have a personal agenda. It just means they have a different perspective, which, ironically, is the very thing you’re accusing me of not accepting.

Also, I never said you judged the entire series—but calling the main couple unenjoyable based on just one episode is odd. It almost sounds like you already know the whole story. That’s why your reasoning seems strange to me and comes off as biased—it feels like you may have disliked the main couple from the very beginning. And it’s not even about their story—maybe you just didn’t like them from the start.

Just because I disagreed with your comment doesn’t mean I automatically like the main couple. I simply don’t judge a series—or its characters—based on a single episode. If you consider yourself mature for forming a full opinion from just one episode and think that makes you the mature one… honestly, that kind of thinking feels more childish and unreasonable than anything else.

If this were a two-hour movie, I’d understand your comment about the main couple not being compelling. But this is a series, and only one episode has aired so far. Forming such a strong opinion at this point feels less like personal feedback and more like bias.

The writing is so awful I couldn't get through more than 5 minutes. The voiceover exposition is inexcusable. This…
I see your point, but the voiceover is intentional. It’s from the character’s perspective, narrating past events from their present point of view. It may feel like “telling,” but it’s meant to show how they’re reflecting on the past now.

There is no school in the world that would let the students wear dinosaur costumes and frog costumes or even be…
I did see the dinosaur and frog costumes in Episode 1, and I believe those scenes were intentionally exaggerated to provoke discussion about how far “freedom” in dress should go. What students see as self-expression and what teachers see as appropriate can be very different — and I think the show used these moments to highlight that conflict and raise questions about casual dress and freedom in schools.

But if you’re talking about the Squid Game-style jackets, that’s actually a very common type of clothing in Thai society. Even in strict schools where students aren’t allowed to wear casual outfits, they’re still allowed to wear jackets like that. It’s mainly because Thai people are very cautious about sun exposure — no matter how hot it is, you’ll often see people wearing jackets to protect themselves from UV rays. There’s also the beauty standard in Thailand, where lighter skin is often preferred.

As for the principal’s behavior, I actually think it’s possible, especially based on my experience growing up in Thai society. Schools like the one in the series are usually very expensive, and feedback from students and parents is taken seriously. The tuition fees at these kinds of schools can be extremely high — sometimes as much as the cost of building a house in the Thai countryside.

This is better than we are series
The novel We Are was written around 20 years ago, and I think that could be one of the reasons why it might be hard to enjoy. The charm of the novel really comes from the way the teens flirted back then, in the timeline of the story. I remember when I read it, they used to exchange PINs on BlackBerry phones to flirt.
