I liked the story a lot. Makes me want to watch the US version... Just one minus: the far-from-subtle sponsorship shots. Unnecessary many heavy "hint" were dropped throughout the filming about who finance the series... this orange drink tablet (no idea what it is), the Samsung phone Yeon Woo gets in the end of last episode (it has absolutely no purpose except showing the phone to viewers!), and the brand watches to name a few. I could be mistaken, and they are not sponsors, but it seems a little too much for just random filming. I'm just glad that not all series are that obvious about this...!
Kim Hae Sook is fantastic. She is the Korean version of Merryl Streep, with her wonderful acting wherever is is cast. A diamond to watch and rewatch! I'm a fan!!! I really wish I could understand Korean to be able to grasp her full potential...
First time I watch her. I am looking now at My father is strange, and she is AWESOME! She really owns this character, as hmfacial said! And she is just so pretty that it gives complexes! :P
I got a second role syndrom while watching Prime Minister and I... I knew it couldn't happen but I was still rooting for him! I thought his acting was really good. So gone to the next of his series!! :)
Well, the first thing that is used, overused and abused I think is tears! They must have such a humongous stock of eye drops in Dramaland!!! I wish I could see the bin after a day's work :D
Thanks for the funny blog! I enjoyed it, and got a good laugh!
When I watched the first episode, I wasn't sure that it was worth continuing... But I was curious as it got good reviews, and decided to continue on. Well, I ended it all in 4 days. The drama is good, and I love the songs in it! I liked the fact that the script was not too heavy on the "surprise events" that always comes with dramas. Of course there is some, but it's well contained. So if someone is hesitating after watching the first episode, I recommend to continue a little further before discarding the drama! It is actually really good!
